Chase Center hosts many of the biggest concerts now, taking business away from other venues in the area.
Ballmer did the same, buying out the old Forum, which had been used as one of the biggest musical venues in Southern California. As owner of the Intuit Dome, he gets to keep all the revenues, not share it with the league as he has to with Clippers games.
Alamodome will also get updated as part of this entire project. Both Frost Bank and Alamodome host a variety of events outside of NBA, ie/the Rodeo above and Final Four at Alamodome in addition to concerts.
