Bring him home, Brad. No way he’s not twitching right now, fighting the urge of trading for him today.

3 yrs younger than Griffin, clearly has more gas left in the tank than Griffin - has suffered less injuries over the years than Griffin.

Not sure we can get him back, though. Even if Indy buys him out, I don't think we could sign a guy who was just bought out by the team that we had just traded him to..plus, we might not be able to sign buyout guys if we're over the apron or whatever.

Theis makes less than NT-MLE. Cs can sign him if he gets bought out even if they’re above the tax apron.

Ok good. It'll be interesting to see if they buy him out.

They don't really need him, Jalen Smith, Turner, Jarace Walker, Toppin and Isaiah Jackson at the 4 and 5 spots.

Then again, I think Indy is actually gonna try and make the playoffs this season (or at least the play-in) and Theis is a good player so I wouldn't be surprised if they kept him.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

It's Marcus Smart's fault USA lost to Germany.

Tbh, I find it hilarious when Team USA loses (except that year all the Celtics were on FIBA)

Especially losing to Dennis and Theis, that makes it more funny

Yep, by not playing.

I bet they wouldn't have given up 113 points in 40 minutes with Smart of the floor.

So who would have thought that a team with more individual talent can lose to a lesser team that plays the right way..

Never seen that coming...

Already read many excuse making fans in the general Forum. Can't wait to see them on here, like when Boston loses with more talent for what 3 or 4 years straight.

So we finally know why the NBA referees instituted the war on Theis. It's to avoid all those american centers getting embarassed every night

The lack of a true Center really hurt Team USA.

Team USA had a hard time rebounding the ball.

And opposing teams kept scoring on Team USA inside the paint.

Should’ve brought Derrick White instead of Brunson.

Didn't they say we don't need true centers anymore??

The 3 tightest games the US played this year they gave up 12 offensive boards on 30 missed shots by Germany, 18 on 34 missed shots by Lithuania and 23 on 45 missed shots by Montenegro. When you let your opponents grab 50% of their misses you are going to get burned eventually.

I always want him paired with Tatum, either him or Our Man Coop...
