Boston starting 5 is incredible and Horford is solid but PP, Kornet and Houser isn't a very good bench and I don't know how anyone can think otherwise.

How about that job by Holiday guarding Julius Randle? Anyone else glad it wasn't Grant still out there getting cooked by him?
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

You know how you can tell that JB wasn't as bad as people made it seem in the GT? Look for the comments by the people who usually know what they're talking about. If he was as bad as this tweet, you'd definitely hear them loud and clear with a real breakdown of it.

He had a horrible minute, no doubt about that, but he definitely wasn't as bad as people WISH he was.

It's normal to make mistakes, but that stupid pass by JB is unforgivable because even high school players know that pass shouldn't have been thrown.

What's frustrating about JB is his mistakes are mistakes that are made by kids still learning how to play basketball.

KP is really making it clear that he will not take a back seat to the Jays.

He's playing like he's option 1 or 1a.

This is a good thing.

He makes so many bad plays. It's honestly not even the ones everyone sees that bothers me. He had 2 defensive lapses that are reminiscent of really all his games. I don't remember the time stamp. But we double Brunson late in shot clock. He slides up the line to take up the next pass away. Then randomly decides to drop back to FT line to defend nobody. Grimes is left wide open at 3pt line. Brunson finds him. Catch and shoot 3 splash. It was a great trap and Jaylen could have gotten an easy turnover or forced a tough play with almost no clock....but no instincts. Other one 4th Q he dives down and digs in on a non factor on the block leaving his guy wide open for a 3 in which they hit. He just makes bone head plays consistently. Just such poor instincts.

I think I remember the play, he was worried about the corner 3 that was left wide open because he rotated over to the guy open at the top. He should have stayed up and let someone from the paint rotate back out to that corner player instead of thinking he had to cover both players. One pass and the corner guy gets the 3 but that wasn't his rotation, I don't remember who was down but they probably could have made it to contest.

IIRC. I'll have to see it again though because my memory is a fickle thing when I'm mainly watching the ball.

Porzingis outscored the Knicks 9-3 in the final 2:34 of the game.

I honestly thought we were cooked after Knicks hit B2B 3s off JB TOs. Momentum swung hard in their favor after that.

Celtics now 1-0 in clutch games this season. ;)

I 100% agree that he wasn't that bad tonight, and that this tweet by Smitty was unwarranted. Having said that, his game has evolved 100 times since he was drafted, but his decision-making is still almost as horrible as on day 1. Mind-boggling, especially for someone deemed so smart. On top of that, I have my doubts that he'll adjust to playing on these revamped Celtics. I hope I'm wrong because the time to win is now.

give it time. not forever but at least a few games. Pritch especially has one job to do, he has to do it. I know neither snip3r got many shots but they would have if they were making any.

I don't think his decision-making is as bad as even 3 seasons ago. it's just still going to remain poor at times, likely for the rest of his career.

The entry into Jrue or the one in the back court? Sad I have to ask and they were back to back with magnifies them, but Jrue had some terrible turnovers himself tonight. Felt like I was watching Smart out there in a lot of ways lol.

That's the difference, instead of Smart, KP is now the 3rd option if both Jays are unable to produce in the clutch.
