Horrible shooting by the rockets tonight. They indeed should be ashamed of themselves.

Lamest 2-seed in recent memory.

Offense will be average if the coach is Udoka.

Before Ime was fired, so many on here swore. IME was a good coach even though I clearly saw.nothing more than a Ra. Ra. Ra defensive minded coach with very limited offensive skills.

Houston was bad last year and they had the third pick of the draft and drafted a high end shooter and playmaker. But this brilliant coach put all his eggs in the basket for FVV. Who was horrible this season and is just as horrible in this first playoff game.

You can get by in the regular season when teams don't have time to actually game plan much. But in the playoffs you better know what you are doing.good job Ime.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

From what I saw from Detroit, Miami, and Houston, offense was a problem in the 4th qtr.

Shot clock was always down to 5 seconds or lower.

That's why they can't get off a good shot.

The Celtics having multiple scorers will be the difference.

All years pundits talk about how superior the western conference is. Then we get to the playoffs and 3/4 teams last night forget how to put the orange thingie inside the orange circle

Just because Ime isn’t the best coach, it doesn’t make him a bad one. If your standard is championship and perfection only, then there aren’t many coaches in the history of the game, good enough for you! Idc if they aren’t top level playoff good, running into GSW doesn’t help, they got the second seed. They have no superstar yet, couple really solid players and young up and comers. To get them there in the West, that’s good coaching!

It’s always us on the sidelines, never ever going to get a chance to coach a GL team much less in the NBA, acting like we know what it takes. They must be good at something to even get to that level.

Are there coaches not good enough to get to the promised land in the NBA? Absolutely. Those same coaches coach excellent college teams and a lot of the time they win championships!

Let some people tell it, you would think Red won chips with mediocre players, instead of teams with multiple HOF! He wasn’t out there winning with get it out the mud players!

It's ironic that Brad Stevens couldn't get the Cs to the Finals and Joe and Ime did.

I want every series to go 7 except ours! I want us to win every series in the same fashion as last season. I want the guys to back up, “We have to do it again!”

I didn’t mind Ime because he brought a different mindset to the roster. IMO it made the Jays have a tougher mindset. Stevens was a cerebral coach and so is Joe. Having Ime in between those two may have unlocked something they were missing. It also allowed them to acclimate to Joe’s toughness also when he took over.

Things happen for a reason.

I think a lot of the coaching has to do with fit and timing, not good or bad. A coach can gel with one group and win then look like he’s not good with another. It’s hard to get a group of men to fall in line. These guys have some of the biggest egos in the world, that’s how they get there, managing all of that is a feat.

KM hates George Karl and he still thinks he’s a good coach, just wasn’t right for them.

Cade Cunningham’s contract is gonna be a bargain when you compare it to some contracts that will be signed during the next couple of years.

I would 100% rather play the knicks, but I'll be dammed if I'm not rooting for Detroit.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
