Wow, this league, coaches, and many of the fans have officialy become a giant collection of pusses.

A pick is now being considered a "dirty" play. Wow.

Homer aren't we.

He wasn't setting a screen to free up the ballhandler. The book isn't well Gino being double teamed so let me set a screen so he only has 1 man on him. Horry literally is not being guarded so he goes to his own man to set a screen. The only thing he should be doing is fine a spot to receive a pass.

Right, because the Spurs offense is centered around trying to find open shots for Horry, as opposed to setting a bunch of picks to free up our ballhanders in Parker and Manu. You're really on the ball.

Consider his track record, that name is pretty much justified.

Low-Ki wrote:Instead of whining about it to the press and the league, man up and have one of your scrubs hammer Parker or Duncan or Ginobili. Everytime Bowen or Horry does something dirty, teams whine to the league - they have never done anything yet, it's obvious they are not going to start now.

You fight fire with fire. An eye for an eye. But don't get revenge on the scrub that is doing it - go after one of their stars. Only then will horry and Bowen stop because their teammates will get tired of feeling the retribution for their dirty play.

PREACH!

Spurs fan? Man you are real bi****s!

I'm curious..

why are NBA fans the pussiest fans in sports? I wasn't around in the 80's and the beginning of the 90's, but from what I heard, fans were much more accustomed to physical play and even called out for their players to take shots..

when did it become so pussified?..we're at the point where a PICK is considered to be a dirty play..we're at the point where people call Carlos Boozer "dirty" because he pushes off sometimes on rebounds LOL..we're at the point where some people want Ronny Turiaf to be SUSPENDED for a hard foul, even though he shouldn't even have been thrown out of the game..

it's actually at the point where MOST physical play is considered dirty by fans..why are most of you such **** pussies? grow some balls you little hoes..

I like NO-AI's point of view and he's a Hornets fan..he thinks Horry knew what he was doing, as do I, but isn't going to the lengths that most of you are going..

I love Low-Ki's point..why is it that NOBODY ever takes shots at the Spurs? every team has bench warmers that can come out and hit Duncan..not even Duncan, go after our little pussy Tony Parker..

Horry is not setting a pick to free up Gino. If he was setting a pick on Manu's man then that would be one thing. Fact is Manu is getting the double team so Horry job is to give Manu a place to pass the ball.

Your basketball knowledge is unsurpassed. Allow me to gracefully acquiesce to it.

At this point all Horry has left is cheap shots. He stinks

that's why I like the Hornets too..if they add the right pieces, I think they'll win a championship in a few years..they have balls, which is a huge part of winning a title IMO..some people will say that Paul flops around and plays like a pussy in response to this..he does at times, but he has balls in a Ginobili way..he's one of the best competitors in the NBA and a great leader with a lot of toughness..West and Chandler have enough balls, and most importantly, their coach has balls..if you have tough leaders on your team, that goes a long way..

I've never asked you..why do you hate Horry so much now? I mean, we know he sucks, but it seems like you have it in for him..

look at the Suns..all the talent in the world these past few years, but no balls..arguably the pussiest "elite" team in NBA history..all they got out of it was practice for future excuses..

They need to upgrade at SG, in my opinion.

Mo-Pete is a solid player, but not a great player.

Perhaps Julian Wright will be the starter next year; he's impressed me when he's played in the playoffs this year.

And they need to upgrade their bench, big time.

Pet peeve of mine. I am a firm believer in a meritocracy. I hate when people skate by on past accomplishments. He hasn't really done anything significant in two years, yet announcers still talk about him like he's a quality player. Popovich, while a great coach, is giving him playing time that he's done nothing to deserve (reminds me of Van Exel in 06) Also I feel he's taking the spot of a more valuable player.

LOL, look just because a team comes close but never wins it, doesn't mean there pussys.

QFT. If someone trys to injure you, you try to kill him.
The Spurs will stop doing this when Duncan is put on a chopper to the ER.

Your a Spurs fan? Please don't try this everyone is just soft now because Bowen and Horry have been involved in some questionable plays over the years.

I'm not saying anything should happen to Horry. All I'm saying is he did that to get a shot on West back. That in my book I would consider dirty.

Personally all this old school basketball was like this just makes me remember why I hated some of those old school basketball teams. Mark Jackson comments during the game make me want to throw up. Pretty much saying hey if a guy has a bad back lets try to get him out the game. I see why guys like Mark Jackson were watching the Bulls win the title every year. They were busy trying to put hard fouls while the Bulls were actually trying to play basketball.

You know I remember a series in 2005 between Seattle and the Spurs. I remember Spurs fans doing a lot of complaining about the physical play of Danny Fortson, Reggie Evans, and Jerome James. Looks to me like the Spurs learned something from that series.

First "pick" I've seen on a guy jumping in the air to steal a pass. Generally picks stand theei ground or flop. I don't see many push into the guy.

If this happened to Kobe during his bad back game I'd love to see this board.

I had alot of respect for Seattle after that series to be honest. I've always been a big fan of hard nosed play. I guess i just like teams i support to play hard and not give an inch. Do everything to win a game. Never say die.
