It's not just the suits. The pool is also deeper, so there's less turbulence in the water.

Some facts about the pool I found besides the fact that it uses similar technology in the sides of the pool and wave killing lane lines that were used in the last Olympics.
(1) Keeping the water at 80.6 degrees, the temperature considered optimal for swimmers; (2) pumping 'microbubbles' into the pool to break the water's surface tension; (3) building the pool to a depth of approximately 10 feet (Olympic pools used to be 7 feet deep), which prevents water-temperature interference and lowers under water turbulence; and (4) introducing a ventilation system that whisks chlorine fumes off the surface of the water, allowing the athletes to breathe clean air.

That is amazing stuff. Fast pool.

Throwing some great whites in it would probably boost times as well.

Forget Amanda Beard, I think I'm in love with Natalie Coughlin. Easily my Olympian crush for the last four years.

China beating Spain by 14 going into the 4th, pretty cool to watch.

Edit: ..and like clockwork the lead has dwindled down to 3 and China is showing their lack of experience and overall talent.
Go Bucks!

I just realized Kobe was 1-15 from 3pt land in the 1st 2 games. Take away Kobe's atrocious three point shooting. We're shooting 37% from three. No, not great, but definitely solid enough. It seems Kobe is falling in love with the international three and it's gotten him out of his game. Even if Kobe continues to hoist up threes, there is no way he continues to shoot that poorly.
"didnt you watch the game with the raptors?bucks is also a playoff team ,they have enough ability to find wins from dalas and utach,

This brings up another question: how was Amanda Beard ever voted the hottest female athlete in the first place? Her face is...uh, I don't know...Skeletor-ish?

Handball is so dumb. It's a sport someone made up when they weren't good enough to play basketball and soccer.

Handball is awesome. It's like water polo but watchable.

i like water polo

and i think small snippets of handball are really cool, but a full game gets pretty dull typically

The only part I liked was when the goalie blocked the shot with his face.
