In November he shot 35% from deep, this month he's shooting 16%. Last season he shot 38% from 3 before the A.S. break. After he shot 23%. He's still capable of hitting it, he just isn't consistent from deep. It still isn't a shot that the defense will just give him, which means more spacing.
What I'm not is a Melo groupie. I see him for what he is. I could care less than he's from Brooklyn or that he's married to some hot babe. I just don't see him as the answer to the Knicks problems, especially if it involves giving up a lot of talent to get him. He's not a Lebron or Dwight Howard.
If he wants to man-up like CC Sabbathia or Lebron did, I'll be happy to execute a sign trade next summer - and figure out a way to fit him in. But I've had it with players who just want to get paid - and that's exactly what he looks like to me right now.
