Essentially says what we've been saying all along. NY makes sense for $$$, Chi for rings. LA makes no sense (less $$$ than NY, and no rings). Still, who ever said these guys do things for sensible reasons.

Nice thing is that even the downside scenarios posited there don't mention McDermott. And if Melo goes back to NYK and we get Pau, it is a pretty deep and good team.

The only real thing that was reported about their pitch was that they showed a video produced by the Matrix producer voiced over by Tobey Maguire.

What actually happened was that in the 3 full seasons Miami averaged 59 wins, which isn't bad but hardly dominant, in 98 there were 4 teams with 60+ wins. And Miami went on to a 50/50 record in the Finals, again hardly dominant. Especially considering how close the last championship was, requiring two game 7 series, and their complete obliteration during this last meeting vs the Spurs.

* Wade has been exposed as relying on his fading athleticism and ref calls.
* Bosh has regressed to being Ryan Anderson on almost a max contract.
* Melo has been unable to get any of his teams to any serious competitive level.
* Darko, yeah that happened.

I think the class of 03 has looked pretty bad relative to their hype.
