Herd guy? Would be underwhelming as a 2way.

All I know is we need to fill the rest of the roster with athletes.

Highly recruited and highly underperformed. Needs to play with urgency.

Atlanta throwing a disgustingly huge offer at FVV would be so fun to watch unfold, our Raptor friends up north are in quite a pickle

So assuming we are going through with the Bogdan trade, we are currently at;
PG: Jrue
SG: Bogdan, Merrill, James
SF: Middleton, Thanasis, EJ Montgomery?
PF: Giannis, Nwora
C: Brook

That's a lot of spots to fill on this roster. Some guys I'd like to kick the tires on aka near vet min;
PG: Augustin, Dragic
SG: Etwan Moore, Patty C, Bazemore, Joe Harris (MLE)
SF: Grant (MLE)
PF: Marvin Williams, Patrick Patterson, Milsap
C: Baynes, Kaminski

getting more athletic and some decent shooting, he looks like James Wiseman lite to me, but a better shooter.

This is not good if he's actually breaking the Two-Way news... means that someone within the org leaked the pick last night - not that this guy got his intel from NCAA sources like some had thought

Optimistic but the lack of good FA this year I think eliminates a lot of those I think. I think Baynes and Etwaun would be good. I thought Marv retired?

i think tomorrow at 6pm
NBA free agency will kick off Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. ET. Teams will be permitted to contact free agents or their representatives at that time. Players will be allowed to officially sign contracts with teams starting Nov. 22 at 12:01 p.m. ET

I hope that the FO plays this smart (lol) and goes out and swoops up some of the decent guys who teams are unsure about bringing back to free up room for 2021 (ie Ibaka) and THEN announce a Giannis extension.

I think if they opened up Friday or Saturday with that those teams would just re-sign all their guys which includes FVV which then gives ATL/NYK more reason to throw a stupid large paycheck at Bogdan and dampes the chances of that deal happening even more.

Although you could argue announcing Giannis extension right away would get guys willing to come for less now that they know he is staying

lol wat - there's no possible way the Bucks could get Joe Harris for just the MLE. He's going to get at least 4/60 from someone. Maybe 4/72. Getting Harris for the MLE would be the steal of the century.

Also, Marvin Williams retired.

Isn’t Ty-Shon Alexander still unsigned?

Just throwing out ideas my man. And I think we could talk Marvin back, potentially.

The scouting report I read on EJ Montgomery:

Montgomery came in with a lot of hope and promise but had a disappointing college career, never really getting it going in his time at Kentucky.

He’s a big, fluid forward with the makings of an NBA frame but so far his skill level and on court production has yet to catch up.

He’s solid in a lot of areas but doesn’t really stand out in any one. He’s a good defender (most of the time) and runs the court well.

He’s not much of a one on one scorer and isn’t really a threat shooting from outside.

Despite the slow start he’s got a chance to develop and work his way back into the NBA draft picture. Or, more likely, he’ll go undrafted and spend a few more years trying to work his way into the league.

So he’s tall and not good at basketball. :wink:

Are we going to convert Frank Mason and Cam Reynolds to roster spots or do you think they're both gone? Cam I don't really care about but Frank might be a serviceable backup this year.
