Obviously he's super young and he needs some adjusting to the intensity and athletism of the NBA, probably 3 years away from being something, it will be fun to follow his progress.
I just feel like Mogbo does most of what Essengue will eventually do.

True. I already would give the ball to Martin over Barrett. He moves with such force and efficiency.
Shead - Jakobe - Martin - CMB - Mogbo lineup would wreak havoc on anyone.

Exceeded expectations the most: ChomcheIf you recall summer league last year, he was completely lost on the floor. Was ball watching and had no idea where to be. Last night, the Bulls were scared to go to the rim when he was in the paint. He looked liked a real NBA prospect.
Disappointed the most: WalterHe wasn’t aggressive enough. I felt like he should have taken over the half court offense given he’s the best shot creator on the roster, but he didn’t assert himself like I’d have hoped. He had a much better 2nd half and made some good plays ultimately, but I expected him to stick out more.

To be fair to Essengue, he was like the second youngest player in the draft. People were losing their minds with his play in Germany but we saw that the level of intensity and athletism of the summer league overwhelmed him. He will probably play a lot in the G league this year and will probably end being a good 3 and D in a few years.

Koloko a prime example of missing significant development time and never recovering to get back on track.

Maxime asked teams not to draft him. He wanted to go to Sacramento.

Dude, we would be winning the lottery if Martin had a career anywhere close to Bledsoe’s… there’s no way you’re gonna say Martin is better based on a summer league game…
The championship level bucks that we beat in 2019 in the ecf had Bledsoe as their starting pg… didn’t they win like 60 games that year?
People forget Bledsoe’s nickname used to be ‘mini LeBron’
I was never a fan of Bledsoe. He’s a running back that played basketball. Incredible athlete. Poor basketball player.

Speaking of football players. More like 6'2 Nate Robinson!

Haha, if Nate was 6’2, his career trajectory is a lot different.
Back to Bledsoe. Yeah he was starting on that Bucks team we faced in 2019. And then we played him off the court because he was a horrible offensive player. Made the Bucks rush Brogdon back from injury, which made sense because Brogdon gave us fits. Bledsoe didn’t accomplish much as an NBA player except putting up empty stats for most of his career. He was never a needle mover, which is why he couldn’t stick anywhere, even though the box score stats looked nice.
