Jordy Nelson's injury has me a little concerned with dieng and Wiggins playing so heavily in the Olympic qualifiers.

Saw tonights game against Puerto Rico live. Wiggings had two nasty dunks and really turned it on in the last few minutes to give canada the lead. Looked a little cold in the first half despite hitting some jump shots may have forced the issue a little bit but looked like he warmed up by the 4th quarter and took over. Wiggings isnt as tall/big as I imagined though, he looks like a SG but was very impressive overall.

Bennet on the other hand is a physical specimen with long arms and broad shoulders but mentally wasn't there tonight. He missed a two handed dunk while completely alone in the final minutes that flew to half court and was also blocked emphatically by Puerto Rico's backup center who doesnt really look like a basketball player.

To be fair, it was an obvious foul when they showed the replay. Guy got crossed hard and took a hard swing at the ball/bennett's arm.

Wiggs just seems to know that he can turn it on any time he wants. He is learning how to finish games and put teams away.

The one thing he still needs to learn is to do more off the ball. It is as if he wants his teammates to get theres, so he completely stays out of their way rather that trying to create for them to make things easier.

This is going to sound really strange, but Wiggins looks stiff even when he makes the most athletic plays. His joints are hardly bent at all, it's like a statue gliding through the air. Thinking about it though, it's probably what allows him to posterize so many players. The ball gets extended more simply because the arm isn't as bent, making it more difficult to block a ball that's higher in the air.

I think that's why this is maybe my favorite Wiggins dunk from last season, even though it hardly gets mentioned among all of his others. It actually looks athletic.

I never noticed Sam Mitchell's reaction on the sideline until now haha. He was ready for a poster!

It isn't so much stiff as it is upright. When Wiggins moves, he moves like a sprinter. He is basically usain bolt with a basketball as far as asthetics go. His mother is an Olympic sprinter, so it makes since sense. Wiggs has said on many occasions that if he wasnt a basketball player, he'd be a track athlete.

That's fair. Maybe that's a better word to use.

Wiggins reminds MJ more than Lebron James does.
He has better first step, better two foots jump and better jump shoot than Lebron.
My prediction is that if he stays healthy he will score 23 ppg this year and he will play in all star.
I also see the Timberwolves in playoffs this year.
Amazing talent in the young core Wiggins,Lavine,Bennett and Towns.
And also good players as Martin,Rubio and Shabbazz
