Snidely FC wrote:"I know what to expect when I put him on the court," was always Clifford's favorite compliment about Gerald Henderson. Not so much Jeremy Lamb. lamb just looks clueless out there. I don't know how you know what to expect from him. I know people think his wingspan ought to make him a good defender, but his team defense and defensive awareness are just a mess and never going to be what Clifford expects. He looks physically stronger but his lateral pursuit is spastic. And that vacuous expression on his face isn't going away any time soon. I think Lamb needs to go. In the meantime, would be interested to see what Treveon Graham can do as a 3 & D guy with Lamb's minutes.

haha how many reverse jinxes have we already had this year? 3 by my count

I'm always glad to be proven wrong; liked his overall awareness this game, he said after he has to do it every night and that would be great. BTW how great is it that Cliff rewarded Lamb leaving him in to close?

I'm sure Charlotte's crack medical staff is applying the best leeches to his hamstring as we speak to bleed out the bad humors.

Fortunately we only have 2 games in the next week, and those are against BRK and PHI. We have 4 games the next week though against a more competitive slate (CLE, TOR, UTA, IND), so hopefully he's back sooner rather than later.

Clifford on Jeremy Lamb's injury: "It's gonna be a couple of weeks. It's pretty significant. He can't even walk."

Crap.

Not good at all. Clifford is going to have to get creative now that our main/only scoring threat off the bench is out. We should be fine the next two games, but we have one hell of a 5-6 game stretch coming up that we will need all hands on deck.

It does seems appropriate that once Lamb starts to pick up the play he is derailed by an injury that could limit him somewhat through out the season. Hamstring injuries are not something to **** with.

Hamstring issues must really be difficult. When the injury happened it didn't look serious at all.

clifford is being a bit hyperbolic for no reason here , lamb was out bowling in charlotte after the game. once he's reevaluated in 1-2 weeks i expect him to come back to action relatively quickly. If you are reevaluated that quickly its a very minor strain.

Barring a setback, it's likely Jeremy Lamb will return from a hamstring injury Friday when @hornets play Hawks.

Jeremy Lamb OUT for Hawks game Friday.

@hornets Would it make you feel better if I ignored what Clifford says?

Rick has zero awareness of how he comes across on social media.

On another note, why did we go with "Rustler" for Lamb's thread title?
