Sucks to lose out on a single shot, but it might be better for the Suns in the long run. The lesson is you need to play hard every game and not rely on a miracle to experience success. Win those games you should have earlier in the season and this isn't even an issue.

I certainly didn't wish for that after the turd that the Bucks laid earlier today. Major props to the Nets for rising to the occasion.

I didn't either, but losing on a missed buzzer beater is **** rough. :(

I didn't like his shot selection. It was just iso ball and a bad shot (fading sideways shot). But still probably the right guy to take it.

the quote from Starship Troopers comes to mind. "Something given has no value".

We didn't get gifted the play-in (like the Grizzlies did), but hopefully we earned some respect from the league. And next year we will earn our way into the playoffs.

As I said earlier, would've preferred playoffs but here's what we've gained

- #10 pick (I'm expecting the basketball Gods/Adam Silver to reward us)
- Hunger and thirst for winning
- Attention of national media
- True Booker recognition
- and most importantly (imo), something we've been without for damn near a decade - RESPECT

Proud of the team and it was a pleasure experiencing the last few weeks with you all. I saw the future already as it's a repeat. Suns will be on top again. Good fight, good night

Back to the crushing loneliness of quarantine in a country where it seems like it will never end because of too many idiots existing. Y'all take care and WEAR YOUR **** MASKS. See you next season (and maybe randomly between now and then)

God, I hate to be a Suns Fan!!!

Switch to Lakers, celtics, Spurs and u will never be disappointed.

Never ever. ;-) I´m Suns fan since 1993. Have been a lot of up´s and down´s since then. Now it´s time to turn things around again, boys. I´m looking forward to next season with a lot of joy, but I´m deeply dissapointed right now, as it was the same as always... :nonono:

The only thing that can stop Dame refs is LeBron refs. Dame will find that out soon.

Fully expected a blowout in this game similar to that other game, so was surprised the Nets led by 5 early in the 4th when I woke up. Didn't botter watching the end as the outcome was clear, wasn't it ?

Anyway, as already pointed out many positives out of this season. Good luck draft time. This team should play as good as any team next season as long as they want it bad enough.

Yeah, it definitely didn’t have anything to do with Ayton blundering his way out of one third of the season.

Great bubble, the Suns killed it.

Both can be true.

Definitely who you want taking it. Just wish he tried to drive a bit more

Devastating end, but man these last couple weeks have been the most fun I’ve had as a Suns fan in a looong long time. Proud of their efforts and appreciate everything they achieved in the bubble.
Just hope they can find a way to carry this mindset and momentum in to next season. Stronger and improved.
The Nets really took it right to them, when they really had nothing to gain, so I can’t be upset that the last shot didn’t go down or that LaVert didn’t get a better look. He was balling all game, when they could’ve sat him the entire 4th.

Man, I know everyone wants to keep the same team together but I think the Suns need to get a proven player next to Booker. All of our players have really good trade value, would not be surprised to see James Jones pull a trigger. I just don’t know who would be available and a good fit. Going to be a really interesting offseason for many reasons.

Looking back, how important was that BS lane violation call on the Nets which took away a point for Brooklyn...

As long as it's not a trade for the sake of making a trade, we've got assets and have shown we're actually on the up and up. Maybe a disgruntled high-caliber player wants out and we can pounce.

But for once, I don't feel like I have to talk myself into the guys we've got. They've mostly shown who they are and what they can do, and they can pretty much all contribute to winning.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I don't think that's a good idea. We need continuity more than anything else. We also don't want to place all our hope on this year's draft pick solving our problems like so many other years. Keep this core going and growing together, and don't try to shortcut things. We have what we need now, and in fact now we have to get Oubre on board with becoming a sixth man going forward.

I guess I’m just worried because the last time we held on to players and didn’t pull a trigger, their value vanished (Bender, Chriss, and Jackson). I fully understand our current players are actually talented and understand how to play basketball. I just hope Book knows we are doing everything we can to assemble a winning team next to him.

the value of guys like bender, chriss, and jackson vanished because they were never good to begin and we overvalued them. We purged those guys from the team and all the young guys we have left are promising as hell. Also, they are already good at doing certain things, instead of being total projects. Don't trade them to try to cheat the process, keep developing them. Based on Booker's interview today, he is totally aware that we have been doing everything possible to surround him with what we need to succeed. I am definitely a lot more positive this offseason compared to last offseason.
