yea i would because he is a free agent in 2 years and the Wiz likely do not sniff the playoffs in those 2 years given poor cap management and lack of depth. Also has no first round picks so needs as many win now pieces

what is he really going to do with BI, he likely is a top 5 lotto team with bad contracts and no first round picks and will be a free agent once the bad deals are off the books

dont know but If I were him I would hold on to him...he has bird rights and he'll get a clean slate...unless someone was willing to trade him a similar player- with a similar story...

You trading Morant? ofcourse not...unless you get another young franchise player...This aint that hard-

And washington has his 1st round pick for next year...you said he "has no first round picks"

maybe he just doesnt want to make any trades until he see how the SIM actually works..? tbh other than maybe 5 or 6 teams not many of us have made deals this summer. (at least major ones) We are at an interesting point given some of us now have rookie deals and others of us are waiting for the year 5 reset.

he's made plenty of trades though. I think the point is he actually does make trades he just ignores 90% of the league. And before people say be persistent how can you be persistent if your stuff goes "unread". At that point he has either pm/email x-ray vision or he only wants to work with a specific few. Which I guess is fine but how does one come to that mindset of who to work with when they aren't around, like ever?

Just as in life you get what you put in...I bust my ass to get deals done with Robin. I spend more time than you can imagine to get deals done with him and thats why I get them done- Period.

Robin himself inferred he has a preferred list of which GMs to work with, and which to not.

The only thing he denied was that it was based on a birdie in his ear. He claimed it was based on bad offers he's received. Which I call bullchit on, cuz a large contingent of GMs have never had their PMs opened (that x-ray vision he must have, that mpharris referenced).

Whether it was you, NewEra, or whoever, is not my concern. My concern is a negative impact on the league.

Politics is definitely played here. When I first joined I was told not to fk wit this Hoffa guy, as he was a penis head. However, I was wise enough to know you should deal with anyone, as long as the deal is beneficial to you, or both parties. This was proven out when I saw the same GM who told me don't fk wit Hoffa, do a deal with him shortly thereafter. Now Hoffa has def proven out to indeed be an upside-down penis head. But the point remains that it's bad for the league to refuse to make oneself accessible, or outright ignore 87% of the league. And to only do deals with 10% of the league.

If any of you continue to make excuses for how the Wizards are ran, you're either doing so cuz its beneficial to you, or you hope your defense of him eventually leads you to getting off the blacklist and onto the preferred list.

The idea of a bunch of grown men with kids gossiping about who NOT to trade with is extremely petty. I hope Robin can come out and clear the air on this narrative, cause it wouldn't be good for the game if true.

Look, I understand that even BAF seems to have its cliques and politics to it, but come on guys. Let's enjoy the game. Celebrate each others wins, and continue to laugh at our losses.
