Abe Pollin ordered this move. Of all his stunts over the years (cold showers, paying for laundry service, staying at crappy hotels, hiring incopetent friends as chief medical doctors), this ranks up there. God damn it Abe. Just SELL THE TEAM!!!!

I wonder if the Blazers have any room on their bandwagon.

And our draft grade is F---

I agree with the F grade. That's not just the annoyed fan speaking or anything; I fully expect to see a lot of D's and F's and nothing better than a C for us around the web when all the site file their draft report cards.

I think he's wrong as hell tonight, but I still like him.

Classy? DCZards is one of the most condescending pricks on this board. And that's saying a lot.

Well, everyone's in a fine mood tonight.

Ernie sucked so bad that the Hawks had a better draft than we did. F-ing horrendous!

We could have had Darrell Arthur and Mike Taylor but instead we have nothing... NOTHING!

Totally deflating, nothing to look forward to this year really.

If you are Antwan and Gilbert, you have to seriously question this organizations desire to win a championship.

I really hope Blatche makes a huge leap this summer. This draft didn't help at all.

FIRE EG NOW!

I'll be the optimist and say D-

It could have been worse if we took Koufos and then traded our no.2

We are banking a lot on a healthy team next year. We are pretty much making 0 changes in the offseason.

A lot rides on this season for the front office and coaching staff.

Maybe this means we are going over the luxury tax this year and will throw the full MLE at a player like Posey or Childress?

Most of the people here hated the Nick Young pick as well and I thought he had a really good rookie season. So I'm still going to trust Ernie over the armchair gm's here. I'd be more disappointed if there was an obvious pick to make at 18, but there wasn't. There was no one there that was an absolute can't miss, or a guy who dropped unfairly. Just a bunch of maybes and young guys with upside. I'm not mad at EG for this pick. Go with upside and hope for the best.

My feelings as well. I can relate, i've hated numerous dc picks over the years (Alzner, Boyd Gordon, J. Jeffries, and Carlos Rogers and Michael Westbrook etc), reading up on him, it does make a certain amount of sense. Outside the lottery your finding role players or a hidden gem. Grunfeld went for what he hoped was a hidden Gem. I have no issue we/doing that. Nothing at 18 was likely going to turn us into world beaters next year, but maybe, if thins play well, it helps us a ton soon enough, much like Young and D Mac last year. I hated the idea of drafting him a few weeks ago but I've warmed to him at this point.

Of course I dont expect much crow eating since few seemed to do so after Nick Young had a solid-good rookie year despite not playing for oodles of minutes.

Nah, probably just giving Gil the max, letting Mason go, and doing absolutely nothing else.

Keep in mind this is the same team that happily ditched Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace, etc.

Do not forget the name Bill Walker
