Could Phil have handled Anthony better? Absolutely. But I'm referring to the quotes he gave in articles. I don't have any issue with Phil saying that if Melo wants to win, he should seek a trade, since we will be rebuilding.

That is a fair statement to me.

Yes, maybe in a vacuum but in reality, Melo didn't take it well at ALL. Come on.

Yes, but does someone taking offense to a statement make the statement innately offensive?

I'm honestly asking you, is what Phil said inherently unfair? Regardless of how Melo received it.

So true.

Yes becuase Okafor and Russell are just as good as KP great comparison random knick dude.

Is Towns being shopped? How about Gannis ?? Are they being shopped?

KP is not being shopped...if the Pelicans call Minny and offer Davis and a pick for Towns, is he being shopped because they picked up the phone?

KP is being shopped it is clear they are having back and forth discussions and we have set a price on KP that is being shopped because he has a price tag.

Dolan has a gig tonight. Pretty sure he's at sound check.

Is he gonna sing his Trayvon Martin song? lol.

Are you suggesting Knicks fans should rest their hopes on Dolan?

That's exactly it actually. It's called reading the room.

If Thibadeau took calls on Karl Towns, would you say "FIRE HIM NOW" or would you say "see what you can get"?

Give me your honest answer.

Dude...that hasn't happened. And guess why?

Probably because Towns attended his meetings and answered his phone calls.

Is Phil's responsibility to the Knicks or to Carmelo Anthony.

If Melo wants to win now, and Phil wants to rebuild, then what is the right way to address it?

I Boston meets our asking price, then I would be happy with a deal. My only concern is how do we start a rebuild by trading KP but keep Melo? Makes no sense, Melo has to go also and probably before KP does.

You have no idea what's going on. All we have heard is that we've been taking calls from other teams. That's not shopping in my opinion. Semantics, whatever. Phil is doing nothing wrong in doing what is best for the team.

You sure do know a lot of stuff. Thibs has never received a call for Towns. Bucks have never received a call for Giannis. A trade won't happen. Pretty amazing that you know all this stuff.
