The rumor about the Bulls trying to move WCJ could make a Horford + picks for Otto Porter Jr trade much more appealing to them.

Bro come on. Not getting fox without Ben at this point. And no he’s not worth that but he sure as hell is to the kings. He’s their guy, and really damn good
The Kings supposedly didn't draft Luka because they already had Fox. Which if true is the stupidest thing ever. But assuming that is true they can't possibly trade the guy who they "chose" over Luka.

Buddy Hield is not the "significant" move. That is something that has been discussed. I hope to hear more as the day goes on but all i know as of this morning is Ben is still not being discussed.

His shooting regressed big time and the new regime might not view him as a fit. I'd inquire to see.

As in something else significant is being discussed (aside from Harden) or are you just calling this guy out for him labeling Hield as significant?

Lavine???
I have heard a few names tossed around (Lavine is one) but no concrete details so I won’t reveal too much more.

Given the crappy contracts we have to offer, I can't imagine the "significant" move is anyone other than Hayward or heaven forbid, Westbrook. If it's neither of those guys, then the Sixers would have to include guys like Shake and Thybulle and first round picks and I can't think of anyone off the top of my head that's worth giving up all of our promising youth and future for that is a realistic target.

Would you consider the potential names mostly positive?

Well, Lavine or another player of that level without giving up Ben or Jo would be amazing, IMO. About the best one could expect this offseason.

Complete understand, was more inquiring if that fits the mold of the type of guy they would target!

I don't think Lavine is a big move either. He's fine and would be useful here, like Hield, but he's not a huge difference maker.

I’m honestly just trying to think who else fits that type of guy going through the teams. Wiggins maybe? Oladipo, maybe FVV from Toronto? Fournier and Ross together from Orlando? Rozier or Graham from Charlotte? There’s not a crazy amount options. Derozan makes no sense to me lol

I mean unless you want to trade Simmons and/or 20 million first round picks they’re not going to be able to completely remake the franchise in a day. They need something positive to get the ball rolling the right way again. Don’t love Lavine but if he’s available for a cheap price I can talk myself into it.

Re: Fixing the Mess Pt. 2 Sixers Offseason
If Lavine is reasonably priced, he can be hid defensively and ticks a lot of boxes offensively. He's not perfect but it could be worse, compensation dependent.

Yeah, that's fine. I agree. I just sense a tone that makes it seem like Lavine is going to be a significant step to a title and I'm afraid of what it might cost to get him.
I love incremental improvement. I'm on team incremental improvement.

Re: Fixing the Mess Pt. 2 Sixers Offseason
lavine is the PERFECT buy low guy who can blossom into a stud
uber athletic, young, good 3 point shot, gets to the line, good handle, good around the basket..
you teach and demand defense, it is NOT a skill or trait that you have
