And in the offseason we will be including him in trade packages. 100% sham's fault.

Love Mitch, longest tenured Knick... never has played a full season. If you told me that Mitch would be 100% healthy for the duration of his contracts, I'd definitely resign Mitch.

In reality, we probably can't afford to have 15m locked up for 30-50 games a year out of Mitch. This team is too thin on talent to have that type of money be unproductive for half the season (and you don't even get to pick which half).

NEEDHAM, Mass. —
Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum suffered an injury involving his Achilles tendon in the final minutes of Monday's loss to the New York Knicks, an NBA source tells SportsCenter 5.

The severity of the injury is still being evaluated, the source said.

My expectation is KNIXINSIX. I think Celts are somewhat a system team and they will be amped up to play tomorrow and rally behind losing Tatum.

Knicks wrap it up in game 6 at home.

If we're whole we should beat them, they have been playing well, but it's really hard to tell just how good they are considering both their opponents have been injured. What I do know is that the 7 game series would have been over in 5 last year if OG didn't get hurt. I would expect a big series from OG here, because they don't really have a matchup for him.

The only thing I worry about with them is injury, and their whole gameplan is centered around getting Brunson tired by pressuring him full court the way they've done Mitchell.

Right. They're well coached and well conditioned. As JVG said, very dangerous.

Josh Hart becomes critical as he can take some pressure from Brunson. And Deuce.

It took a miracle finish for them to beat the Cavs when they were without Garland & Mobley, it's not 2-2 but it could easily be that right now. I think they're a emergency room bully, they beat the living daylights out of injured or compromised teams.

I just think we'll have an easier time scoring against them than we have against anyone so far.

he was special special...I know I expect a ton out of him and he has been doing it in the 4th qtrs vs boston but I was waiting for his signature dominant game and he exceeded that. His high level shot making is unmatched in the NBA. Kobe like in terms of making tough shots look easy.

Against great defenders too. Cooking against Jrue and DWhite

The new owner isn't getting quite what he thought he was when he paid top dollar for the team. But it will work out in the long run.

I reviewed their finances last week and even last offseason. I was kinda shocked that the previous owner were giving out contracts like candy. Jrue Holiday was egregious.

Just to get under a good financial health, would be to shed Jrue's without taking salary back or even trade Jaylen Brown for shorter contracts.

KP is an expiring asset but after this playoff, might need to give an asset to let him go.

I wonder if Boston tries to stealth tank next season?

Dolan needs to just have an entire row of baddies young and old behind the scorers table to fuel OG's super powers

Pritchard is a spark plug that can bring plenty of scoring, the Celtics are a good team even without Tatum.

Gotta force Brown to try to win by himself. I wouldn't count them out, so we need to approach this with the same intensity that we would have if Tatum was there.

No open threes. Long twos and contested lay ups.

there is noone left to double and try to contain with the unfortunate injury to tatum, Brown isn't the guy, you stay home on the shooters and the celtics will have trouble cracking 90 tomorrow
