So, looking at rosters, one guy that I see that could be a fit and could be obtainable is Greg Monroe. Ted is a Georgetown guy as we know.
We are pretty well set at PG, SG, and SF, so from a roster point of view if Ariza and Okafor expire center would be a logical position to next fill with a long term starter. Aldridge is another possible target. But Monroe to DC could be intriguing, he is a RFA in 2014 (Aldridge UFA 2015), and Detroit has another young center in Drummond to fill the void.
If Okafor and Ariza expire, could we and should we go after Monroe with a max offer to try to pry him from Detroit?
Monroe, Nene, Porter/Webster, Beal, Wall would be a good looking team mostly just entering prime (Wall and Monroe are 23 this year, Beal and Porter 20). Webster is still only 26, and Nene the old vet of the team.
Backup center we can decide on Seraphin and keep him if we want, or maybe keep Okafor with MLE similar to what we did this offseason with Webster? Or just use Nene there.
Yeah, Monroe here has been on my list as well.

There are some good options down the road.
As long as we have Wall, Beal, Webster and Nene, there will be options. We are actually sitting pretty good right now. But mostly its about Wall and Beal. A big 7 year window just opened up.
