I doubt anything of substance. Its all pre-trial stuff, unless the Twins have been offered a plea bargain then the only thing that will happen is more future court dates being chosen.

Hopefully we will hear whether or not the case is going to be resubmitted to the Grand Jury. If it isn't then the trial is scheduled to start on Sep 30th ... just in time for training camp.

I guess his future is still in PHX?

Now that Tyson Chandler joined Suns voluntary workouts today, every Suns contract player but Markieff Morris is training early in Phoenix.

Sad to see Gerald Green working with the Heat... He looks good.

I cut DIRECTV too. They offer a streaming package that's separate from everything else by using their Sunday Ticket app though.
Oh I didn't know they did the Sunday streaming separately now. That's huge. What's the pricetag on that?
I got in on this http://slickdeals.net/f/8026041-nfl-sunday-ticket-streaming-99-student-price-free-max-upgrade?v=1&src=SiteSearch&page=20

Ship Markieff out of town. The guy is such a loser. Every player but him is practicing in Phoenix early to build camaraderie and get ready for the season. It is like Markieff's mission to destroy the season. The organization should not let him near the team. Either trade him or suspend him. He should never step on the court in a Suns jersey again.
I remember being at Jason Kidd's first game back in Phoenix as a member of the Nets. The fans booed him every time he touched the ball. They did the same thing to Kobe in 2003 at a game I was at where it was Kobe's first appearance of the season after his rape accusation. I used to think those games were some of the most intense fan booing I ever heard. I would not be surprised if the first time Markieff is back at the Suns arena it surpasses that. He destroyed the fan base, consistently insults the organization, and is accused of felony aggravated assault. What is there to like about this guy? How can any Suns fan ever want to see him play for the Suns again. Because he hits mid-range shots and his contract is supposedly a bargain? Give me a break. The team needs to get rid of him asap.

So can you please, for once and for all, tell us how you REALLY feel about Markieff?

Good enough to trade Kieff and Warren for him?
Some of you guys are so crazy high on Warren. Yes I'd do that deal without thinking twice. It's as if some of you wouldn't trade Warren for AD or LeBron.

We are not getting Ibaka. I am super high on Warren, but I would still without a doubt do that deal. OKC has zero reason to trade him, so the suggestions are ridiculous. Though there is someone around here who wouldn't include Goodwin in a trade for Ibaka.

Yeah I never said Ibaka was realistic - as I pointed out originally - but for people to say they wouldn't do it because of Warren is interesting. It's like people here think Goodwin is Wade 2.0 and Warren is Dominque 2.0......I think people are going to be disappointed. I like Warren too, he has a unique skill set and I believe he will be an efficient scorer from the 3 but I don't think he's nearly rounded enough to be the franchise center piece some here view him as,

I don't think many if any view him as a franchise center piece, but if you have him and Len being able to be both top 10 players (at their positions) that is a start. If Warren develops a three ball he will be a lethal scorer. If he doesn't he will probably not find a great place in the league, so that remains to be seen. At worst he would probably be a great second unit guy and maybe 6th man.

If they don't see him as a franchise centre piece then why wouldn't they trade him for someone like Ibaka? I've seen other names mentioned too that they wouldn't trade for TJ and it comes across as asinine and fans from other boards must laugh when they look at this stuff.

I know a lot of folks were happy to see him go but I was not one of them. I predicted that he was going to have a monster year in Miami when we let him go and still believe he will, depending on health.
Miami is my sleeper team in the East. Even though I was not happy with the way Goran left I will watch them paly They should give everyone trouble and depending on health could come out of the East.
I only pray that the Suns will be half as entertaining as the Heat appear to be, unfortunately I doubt it.

Re: Suns Offseason Thread V: I Am My Brother's Kieffer
Man. It's been a rough summer. I'm sick of hearing about Donald Trump and Kweef Morris. I've enjoyed better offseasons for sure. Last year's sucked too with the Bled hold out. THankfully he's come around.
My guess is we won't see much of Keef this fall. He'll go to trial and be excused away from the team after being an ass during media day and on no pay. We'll end up trading him for crap in December but will have closure to look forward. This clown doesn't appear to have the maturity to maintain self respect and dignity without causing a scene and I doubt he'll learn it from anyone suddenly.
I honestly think Mirza might turn out to be a bit of a surprise if he ends up starting next to Tyson. Hopefully we'll just nab an 8th seed.

Yep, same with those putting Bogdan in that deal breaker category.

For all the Nikola Mirotic fans out there, check this out. Mirotic was selected with a pick that the Suns owned at one point. It was originally the Orlando Magic's pick. It was traded to the Suns in the Marcin Gortat deal. We sent that pick out to Houston along with Goran Dragic to get Aaron Brooks (whoops). Houston sent it out in a trade that netted them Donatas Montiejunas. Chicago ultimately received the pick.
TL;DR: Nikola Mirotic could have been a Sun.

We lost two 6th man of the year players from last year. Isaiah Thomas and Gerald Green. People don't realize how important it is to have energy and spark off a bench like them. I'm hoping Weems/Booker/Mirza can be those type players for us next year. I think Booker is gonna be a very solid player. He hasn't played a single minute and already put him over out of control Archie Goodwin.

A chucker and a ball-hog. Good riddance!
SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.
