The hit tracking really is pretty insane in SotFS. One of my few gripes.

IGN ran a poll of who you are most excited about, I picked Bethesda. I pray to god we get another glimpse of ES:VI....like I'm dying for that game. I put thousands of hours between Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim.
I'd like to hear more about the next Xbox and then anything Nintendo has to say. Some Pokemon/Animal Crossing would be legit.

Really looking forward to the Microsoft briefing.
It's rumored that they will be showing 14+ exclusives, the most ever for Microsoft in an E3 briefing. I would think that we will also get a glimpse of their next console. I hope we get to see the new Fable.
360 was my favorite console ever, so I really want Microsoft to get back on track. They have been doing all the right things since Phil Spencer took over, so I hope they come out guns blazing to start this next generation of consoles. Their controllers are just so.. damn.. good. I think they are going to beat Sony to market, and they are going to have the more powerful console.

The $5,000 Apple Pro XDR Monitor has an optional $1,000 stand that you can purchase...
What an absolute joke.

Re: OT: Video Game Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos Thread
I actually think that selling the stand separately is really smart. I don't want a monitor stand, so why should I pay for one?
$1000 for a stand, on the other hand, is indeed hilarious. And I don't know enough about monitor technology to know if $5K is reasonable, psychotic, or inbetween for the offering. But I do know I would never buy it. I thought my $400 monitors (x2 = $800) were expensive...
But it's also not a consumer-grade offering. It's for studios. Joe Schmo isn't supposed to have one of these in the first place.

I would expect to spend a boatload for a 6K monitor, but I don't know why anyone would need one for like a decade.

Re: OT: Video Game Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos Thread
So I'm about 35 hours into Grim Dawn. Not through Normal difficulty yet, so obviously not to end game, and obviously not possible to have a complete opinion.
That said, I do think it's not quite for me. Totally respect the game, and I think it does a lot of really cool things that I wish PoE did, but ultimately it's not quite catching me. I think the biggest thing, as I approach the end of Normal difficulty, is the prospect of needing to go back through the same story, quests (by and large) again...twice...to get to the end. The same criticism can be levied on D2 (and I think D3 from what I remember? - though I think a later patch/addition fixed this). This is one thing PoE knocked out of the park. There are 10 Acts, where there used to be 3 acts done 3 times. Even with some maps reused (but also largely remodeled), the different quests, monsters, etc. makes it feel unique. It just feels better to me. When I do get through Normal, I know already I'm not too excited to take on Expert...let alone Ultimate.
Another thing is that it feels a little bland to me, for some reason. I haven't been able to put my finger on this yet. I'm not sure if it's that the setting has been single-tone for me (thus far), or if it's skill related, or just my build or what. This is criticism that would be subject to change if I played more, possibly.
One thing I like is the pace. Well, I should say that I like that it's a bit slower than PoE...but maybe the ideal is not as slow as Grim Dawn, either. The meta in PoE is to move as fast as humanly **** possible, which both feels good but also at times makes what you're doing feel pointless. So I like that Grim Dawn is a different pace.
I also love the devotions - super cool. I only wish that they affected your playstyle more. Okay, I can get my aether damage up 300%. I can also get some effect that happens 15% of the time. But nothing is fundamentally changing my skills. At least nothing I saw as I looked through it.
I'll come back to it for sure. It's just not something I can see myself playing for hundreds of hours like I have PoE. But I can see why many do. It's a different style. I think it's a good style, too - just different from PoE, different from D3.

Re: OT: Video Game Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos Thread
I think I'm the only die hard Nioh superfan here, but in case others are interested I stumbled upon over an hour of Nioh 2 footage I haven't seen anywhere else.
The dude playing is infuriating. He cowards his way through his play-throughs, usually letting his summoned partner take care of things. Doesn't seem that skilled. Doesn't make use of his inventory.
That said, some interesting things. Looks like more vertical based attacks, cool new weapons, new skill tree screen, some tough looking new regular enemies, and maybe most interesting: in the last video he's playing three player multiplayer!

They said they won't be showing anything related to the next Elder Scrolls game at e3 this year so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Hopes squashed. I'm assuming its that new IP Starfield that they'll be pumping?

I don't know if I have a most anticipated show. I've long been a Sony guy, so I'm disappointed they won't be there. I'm interested to see what MS shows, but not dying for it. I'll be curious to see what details we get on FF7R from Square. It seems like they might finally be ready to actually share some details.

I’m definitely interested to hear more about the Avengers game that (I think?) Square Enix is working on. No clue if it’ll be my cup of tea but I definitely want to hear more about it.

Re: the Mac Pro.
The only thing I'll add is that, it doesn't seem like it's just a .001% computer. It's for pros (literal pros - studios), AND the .001% (people who just want one because it's Apple and they have the money). Point being, it's not for Joe Schmo. Or even Joe Doingprettydecent.

Haven't seen it mentioned, but The Outer Worlds looks to be an interesting game. Looks like FO but a new setting, and it's made by Obsidian!

Super excited for Outer Worlds. It's the FO:NV spiritual successor every Fallout fan deserves. I forgot Obsidian was acquired by MS, so I am guessing we'll get more info during their conference. So now my interest in their conference has moved up the list.
