I spent time as a mod on this board for awhile during the playoffs many years ago and you guys/gals as fans deserve what's happening. It will be a battle but a championship will eventually happen with Durant & Booker together.

I am mostly thrilled from the trades that didn't happen that didn't involve the Suns. Grizzlies not getting OG Anunoby, or even worse Bridges is fantastic. I am not sure anyone wants to play for them either. Part of the problem with trying to act like the baddest team in the league is nobody wants to play with ya'll. Nobody wants to be teammates with Dillon Brooks. It's funny because the Suns were the biggest crap-talkers last year, but the Suns weren't playing dirty, they were just outsmarting teams and killin em with the middies.

Warriors also didn't improve, though I do like that they got GP2. I'm unsure why they traded Wiseman for basically nothing. I thought someone mentioned he is probably a better player than Ayton if healthy? Warriors didn't add any height, so if the Suns face them in the playoffs, Ayton is going to have a field day.

The Pelicans didn't really do much to cause any concerns IMO. I think the Wolves got significantly worse. The Nuggets didn't do anything except trading Hyland might have been the slightly worse for their bench, but they are the No 1 team in the West.

I am surprised the Blazers kept Nurkic. I know nobody wants to touch that contract, but I guess I thought they would have tried to get Mo Bamba for cheap.

What's the big deal. We have two washed former all-stars. And then we have Kevin Durant. Don't forget, we also have a No 1 draft pick that isn't worth his max contract.

How are you moderator when you sound like you dont like the team lol. Might want to volunteer over at the Nets.

We have Durant and Booker! Are you seriously upset

Durant > Bridges
Booker

Do you not realize that other buyout players will come here now, when before they wouldnt.

I think Wiseman was traded to save cash but than they traded for Payton so not sure how that all works

As for the Suns - the buyout market could be pretty decent for them. They have 13 players on the roster. I am not sure Ish or Lee will be signed to the 15 man roster

Names out there possibly
Reggie Jackson
John Wall
Terence Ross
Will Barton

I am not sure who is best for the Suns - but I think of that list, Reggie Jackson since Sham/Payne are the great unknowns healthwise.

If Reggie Jackson is Bought out and we dont get him! We failed! That would be the best fit for our team!

In order

Guards: Reggie Jackson, Danny Green

Forwards : Thaddeus Young, Kevin Love

Centers Nerlens Noel

Get all of them and fire our bench lol

You must not sense my sarcastic humor in my post. Booker not being an all-star is a huge slap in the face, considering others made it yet missed the same amount of games. I definitely wanted KD this off-season, though this price was certainly very heavy I am excited to see what he can bring to the team.

Bill Simmons a week ago: "I just don't think Phoenix has enough. I don't think they can trade for KD. Maybe New Orleans with someone like Ingram"

Bill Simmons today: "Bridges AND Cam Johnson?! I like those guys! Bridges, I think I take him over Ingram. I think this is the biggest package for a player we've seen"

lolol okay bro

I for 1 hate this deal. Good luck.

To be fair, we didn't have a ton off the bench before either. Crowder wasn't playing which meant Craig had to start. Cam was injured for the whole season and when he came back, Book was out so Craig continued to start. Ironically it wasn't until the Brooklyn game did we have our former starters back healthy and Craig came off the bench again.

Even then it was still the DLee's, SLee's, Jock's and Wainwright's off the bench with Craig. Not exactly solid then. We certainly need to hope for some decent buy out guys.

What happened to Family,,,,, Mat?

The only Glue/Fun/Family guy left is Payne.

I get we are a business and we have straight-up pro players in Durant, Paul, and Booker but I feel we lost the fun that made the Suns special. How about a balance?

Bridges and his smile, Saric and his locker room bond. We need a family guy that can play.

I say bring Frank back on the minimal and original the Valley Boy, Kelly Oubre. That would create a good family Valley boys vibe back.

Just my $0.02 Mat.

In all seriousness I'd put the odds of KD having a real GM burner at like 50% and that might be low lol

If Suns want more length, we could still sign Dragan Bender, him and KD can fight over No 35. Bender I think is only one year away at this point in being two years away. This would be a solid addition to the bench unit I feel.

+1 for Reggie and Thad. Could use the length of Thad big time.
