I am glad that I woke up at 4 am for this game. It was worth. The way Jayawardene, Perera, Gambhir and Dhoni batted was fantastic. Perfect finish. It couldn't be better at all. I am happy for Tendulkar, but sad for Muralitharan and Shoaib Akhtar.

2 / I'm also studying for the GRE and applying to graduate schools for 2011-2012.
Should I get work experience in India or just wait and enroll in a grad school program for next year?
The economy is slowly recovering...
Where did you apply for that? I would like to apply for a job that's out of the country.

congrats to India, but the India-Pak match was fixed at the government level. Very obvious.

Yeah, I'm in my 20's, single and looking for punani but I don't want to leave America.
Don't want to leave America?? What if I was in your shoes I'd be on the first plane out. Miss your friends? Family? SKYPE. Hate warm weather? Get an AC in India.

OT: Political Science
I'm studying political science as an undergraduate. I went to a meeting held by professors about possible careers for after college, and they all said the same thing, "Go to Grad School." I plan on going to Grad school anyway, but it might not be what I want to do immediately after school. Anyone have a degree in political science? and what path did you head in following graduating? I'm just pondering about my future and always love to hear a good success story. Thanks.

Re: OT: Political Science
I don't have a degree in Poli Sci but I had some friends who recently graduated in it.
Friend 1: Worked in the insurance industry for a while. Hated it. Quit it. Wants to become a politician (maybe local congressman).
Think he is now smoking weed/marijuana all day and watching sports.
Friend 2: Looked for a job, while studying for LSAT /law school. He is Law school right now.
I don't think there is much scope for jobs with an undergrad in poli sci. If I were you, I would try to get ANY job in IT or healthcare. Take some computer courses for IT positions. And there is healthcare technology as well.

Smoking weed and watching sports all day doesn't seem like a bad gig. Where do I sign up?

Your only options are to be a correspondent for a biased political news channel, or a night manager at Walmart, there is no middle ground.
