as much as costas annoys me, i really hope they spend a lot of time interviewing him for this 30 30 special. he was the voice of the spirit and has a great way of telling stories about that team.

Yesterday was the 20th anniversary of Reggie Lewis passing away. I was 8 years old watching sportscenter that morning at my grandmothers. I'll never forget it

Andrew Walker!

Even Slam would appreciate that one, even though his player was used as a step ladder.

I never managed one of those, could never get that high. I dunno if Slam has, if so, I feel sorry for the guy who was underneath him.

anyone have any experience with Nike Hyperdunk Low Sneakers for basketball? i am thinking of getting these for hoops. i really prefer low tops to high tops. 79 bucks seems like a pretty good deal.

I obviously have watched that moment already knowing that Reggie would pass away later on, but that stumble he had against the Hornets in the playoffs is one of the scariest things I've seen in an NBA game. Doug Collins, who announced the game, kept wondering whether his knee just went out or maybe did he slip, but you just see that something is very wrong with his health.

Low tops look so weird to me when on the court. Those are okay though.

That is a couple of years ago now. It was a ripper.

This is still my most favourite mark of all time though:

There has been some amazing marks over the years though. Here is a great example:

I have more of a Jonathan Brown type marking style than a Tony Modra type marking style.

I bust packs.

There is a pic on my facebook page from 5 weeks ago when I played last that shows more of my marking style.

Bust a pack or clear it out, pop it up in the air and let me go one on one.

such a ridiculous piece of music. duke's solo starts at 6:39, but dont skip zappa's solo before that. so damn nasty.

I love that this got posted on a new page and is out of context, just looks insane.

the song at the end is pretty catchy.

hey, Fats, did you ever mention the early 90s Mavericks on your worst front-court ever thread?

I was reading Shaq's rookie season book at work and him mentioning an L to those horrible Mavs tempted me to check out their bk-ref page. I wasn't prepared for the obscure names I saw on their roster from 91 to 94. I knew that they were bad and broke a couple of records for losing on the road but oh my god is that team, specifically the 92-93 one, horrible. Lamont Strothers, Steve Bardo, Dexter Cambridge.. If I didn't have access to the internet, I wouldn't believe anyone who claimed that those are names of actual 90s NBA players. Makes you wonder how will our 7-59 team look to people in twenty years time.

it wasn't that long ago, but I enjoyed going through that thread again. (unfortunately, I'm working the weekend)

will have to bookmark it when I get home, if I haven't done it already.
