Didn't listen to the Luke Thomas interview with Fabia but read some excerpts and man that guy is as dodgy and as shameless as they come. I totally get Luke's point that some people can bring other things to Diego's life that might be outside of fighting like a calming presence, a motivator or some sort of guiding figure but the guy is totally out of his depth when it comes to fighting, cornering a fighter and he knows it. I wish someone could take Diego away from this con artist but sometimes you can't help someone unless they want your help. It's pretty clear Diego is "enchanted" by Fabia's magic and it's just a shame that everybody sees it except for him.

On the other hand, if Felder would have retired anyway, it wouldn't have really mattered, would it? This way Hooker at least can get a little steam behind him...

I'm OK with the decision but would've preferred if Felder won because I am a fan of his. That being said, sooner or later it would get to this point where he does lose and contemplate retirement so I guess sooner the better when it comes to fighting.

Good thing for Felder is that he's a great analyst and should have a pretty solid commentary/analyst career after his fighting days are over which is why I hope he retires.

Ya his call with Luke and Ariel were both bat **** crazy. I love how he starts off his interview with Luke, the first thing he says is corrects how to say his last name then,

"Im his coach, trainer, manager, physical therapist, nutritionist... its much bigger than what the media is saying."

He is a snake oil salesman, its very obvious. The more I hear from this guy the more bat **** crazy he comes off.

But ya in the end its on Diego to see the light. But its clear this is horrible for his career and sadly could end up being pretty damn dangerous considering the sport and the age Diego is at.

Anyone else do medieval studies as an undergrad? Bit of trivia: "Felder" and "Hooker" - both surnames owing to origins as medieval agricultural peasants. "Veld" is Anglo-Saxon for "field", "Hook" = agricultural instrument for foraging (as in, "by hook or crook"). Pretty cool. Luke Thomas, invite me onto your show.

Man, they gotta let these women fight. No way was that woman Anderson fought KOd. She just bopped on the nose. You fall because it shocks your visual system not because it removes your from consciousness. The ref would not have even considered stopping that if they were men.

Or, make it official. Women don't get pushed as far as men. But that was silly.

I’m assuming this was about the Magomed-Ion fight? That was honestly one of the worst stoppages I’ve seen.

The announcer going all out for an empty stadium is amusing.

So one of the fighters in the main event didn't make weight.

Why is this still a thing in 2020? I am disappointed.
