He's not racking up blocks like last season, but teams are adjusting to him. Everytime a guard drives to the rim they attempt a circus shot or pass the ball out when they see him near the rim. Amir doesn't have the physical presence to do that and Holmes is out of position way too often.

LOL oh god. Joel and Markelle were at the beach in LA.

Looks like Jojo was either mooning the camera or decided to go skinny dipping lol

Embiid is 2ND in the entire league on DRPM

welcome back, big guy. when he dominates, he DOMINATES. (no doubt, he still has some healing and conditioning to work out, but i'm back wearing shades.)

Bingo, he's still the 2nd best center in the league and a monster even with some shooting struggles and conditioning concerns. Once we get to the glorious month of January he's gonna look like a young Wilt.

Offense is better with Biid because..
1.) automatic finisher around the rim
2.) can space the floor at 5
3.) defense cant switch because he's a giant
4.) when set offense gets denied, he's our best individual scorer (+- 20ppg +-60TS%)
5.) is legit in attracting double teams (superior gravity)

*amir is almost the exact opposite

Wtf why? It's only been two games since his last rest. Unless the knee is an issue he should be playing...

Cousins still deserves the title of best center in the league. Embiid will probably pass him within the next year or two, but I think that Cousins is the man today.

Given that Embiid only gets the super max if he makes first team all NBA or MVP, having one center ahead of him for now isn't the worst thing in the world.

but not as good as him earning max. MVP, or all NBA with Simmons as MVP would be way cool.

Yeah I got Cousins as the only center definitively ahead of him.

They need to get Embiid off the top of the key. Usually ends being amissed shot or turnover.

He's shooting 25% from 3. He has to handle the ball which leads to him getting his pocket picked.Hes near very top in NBA in turnovers.

i can deal with the foul line pick and roll but other than that Embiid should be down on the blocks posting up and getting rebounds. You could pick a C.Y.O. coach out of a hat and I think they would be doing a better job with Embiid. They have to tell Embiid look dude you are a CENTER not a Guard.

This is just crazy watching him launch 27 footers withh no one left to rebound the basketball .

embiid better play tomorrow.... for one its against the Lakers who I really want to beat... 2nd, its on national TV.

If there's an upcoming game to rest him for, again, its against GSW... we should have rested him in that first GSW game, and we should definitely do so coming up.

I would much rather him rest vs the top tier elite teams that we most likely wont beat, than rest him vs bad teams that we might end up losing too without him.

tldr... he plays tomorrow, rest him vs GSW

There's no way Embiid is missing the chance to play against Ball and Brook Lopez.

Load management. We'll see. Personally, I also hope he plays because most of my friends are Lakers fans haha

The Utah game made some sense with the high altitude, but that wouldn’t be relevant in LA.

I don’t see how they could rest him tomorrow.

That would be a great way to get the first resting fine under the new rules.
