Yup, LeDouche has made it necessary to join forces now. Gutless bastard talked about making the NBA better with his decision. He's just making the small markets suffer and essentially die out. I don't see how that's good for the NBA.

My fav part: A source earlier this month had told me that the Nets had not been given clear indication that Melo would sign the extension to play for New Jersey. And now ESPN.com is reporting that it’s still the case today. Melo was asked today if there’s a scenario in which he’d not end up on the Nets – and he was quite coy, saying, “I don’t know. I can’t answer that question – I don’t want to answer that question.” (emphasis added)

Melo views the Nets as a possible last resort. Right now he's 85% Knicks, 15% Nets and even in that 15%, he may decide to pass. But he hasn't ruled it out completely and his agents are saying: It's a good option to have, in case you want it, and it helps get the Knicks deal done. It's a distant option for him. That explains his answers, the media info we get, and his general demeanor and body language. It also is a good explanation based on sheer logic.

That's a pretty sad unveiling, though Morrow is a very good offensive weapon. Only player I'd want on that whole roster honestly. Lopez at $7M or so would be a nice piece I guess but that's as far as I'd go. I really don't like Brook. Chucking center who can't board or play D, count me out.

I'd go up to 15% because $65M is $65M. You have to give it at least that much on the "Cave for Money" factor alone.
