If they can dump Amare then LBJ can join Melo in NY. Yuck.

What surprises me is the fact that Tobey McGuire is still relevant.

Sixers will just help out every one else with their cap space obviously for no apparent reason. What assets are they going to get from New York that would be worth doing that? None.

I really think the hold up is Melo has given Phil a few days to see what he can do to upgrade the roster and future of the team. If he pulls it off, Melo resigns. If he can't get it done, Melo leaves. We're waiting on Phil.

And the Sixers are about to make that happen for New York. :banghead:

If that's true, I think both sides do Shumpert/STAT for Jason Richardson and a pick or two without blinking. If J-Rich is even necessary?

He is saying that if Bosh goes to Houston that Melo will go to Miami with Lebron.
He is also saying that Philly is willing to take Amare for Shumpert and more...

Shump, I guess. I don't get it either, Bulls have way more assets and Boozer is way cheaper and better than Amare too. Logic doesn't apply to that move at all. If Phil can pull it off, he'll certainly earn my respect as a GM.
Honesty is my only excuse.
