Damn, this is crazy. Back then I just thought Biggie was telling an elaborate fantasy story. He was the best at telling stories in his songs. That's messed up that Fat Joe would even blow up his spot. In my head I always pictured it being Charles Oakley lol.

Actually, funny thing is someone else had probably blown up his spot a long time ago.

Look up Jermaine Dupris song "going home with me." It was released in 1998, a year after big's death.

He had a line saying "**** around and end up like anthony mason"

JD and Biggie were cool. Joe and Biggie were tight too. That line had to be about Mase and Biggie.

What a coincidence

This is so nuts to actually have some level of confirmation as to the party involved. God damn, it's a crazy feeling after listening to that song hundreds of times over the past two decades.

Yeah, and when I was watching this I was remembering they've had a few people on talking about this and nobody would reveal who it was. They were always guessing a wing player like hubert davis or starks.

The whole time it was Mase who wasn't a tall front court player. Fat Joe might've felt more comfortable coming out with it after Mase's unexpected passing.

I think Fat Joe Played himself somewhat. If Mason was really your man, take it to the grave. This is not a positive about your so called brother. Fat Joe is not the only one that knew, but he sure was the first to open his mouth.

Like I said earlier, Fat Joe Played himself. Anybody who sipped the Tea and was running with it is suspect as well. Now he regrets it... No man of Honor would truly reveal that, if he was a real freind.

I rocked with Fat Joe Until Don Cartagena. After that he fell off. Dude is a legend, but he was a chatty patty on this one.

How come you can call Fat Joe a legend but I can't call Drake one?

Ha, that's the last album I have of his.

I remember this on repeat on The Box back in the day. Bought the single at The Wiz. Still have it in a drawer somewhere.

Greenie Have I ever argued you that you can't? I may not like Drake, but I never argued you that you could not call him one, if you see him as that. I may not agree, but you can call him what ever you want.

Thats real. Not many of these people out here nowadays it seems. I've had to clean up my circle more than once.
