That's a solid trio to build with.

U mean Lebron or Kd? Definitely not.
U mean Jaylen Brown or Tatum? Not likely
U mean Roco? Hell yeah

Sacramento is gonna be interesting they have upside guys in Harry Giles, Skal and Fox, Solid defenders in Shumpert and WCS, shooters in Bogdanovic and Hield.
Doncic could slide in very well at the 3.

So we get the #10 pick, Boston does not get it and the Kings get the #3 pick to add to a young team to possibly improve and give Boston a worse pick.

Good stuff

So Sacramento improving is only giving Boston a worse pick right?

Right.

Yeah. If Boston doesn’t get a top 10 pick for the Fultz trade, that could really help minimize the damage since we are competing directly with them.

Trading up for Mikal, landing one of the top big wing FA then retaining most of JJ/Beli/Ersan would be big close to ideal for me.

I feel we can trade up for Mikal with Chi or NY

SAC has the #2 pick, aka Luka Doncic. ATL has #3.

Kings should really explore to trade Fox if Doncic is available. Bogdan and Doncic's backcourt has a lot of upside for me. Both can be great shooters and really good playmakers. Put them on opposide sides and let then run PnR, similar setup with CP3/Harden or Dinwiddie/Dlo

That’s true because he hasn’t proven he can draft here and highly unlikely that happens anytime soon

I’ll be happy if he manages to get one of the ten best players.

Yeah. If Boston doesn’t get a top 10 pick for the Fultz trade, that could really help minimize the damage since we are competing directly with them.

The irony of it all is incredible. The pick swap gave us a chance to trade for Fultz. Because of the pick swap, the Kings drafted De'Arron Fox. De'Aaron Fox represented the Kings to claim the two pick, which effectively gave us the 10-pick in a strong draft and improved the Kings' chances in 2019. Anything can happen in a lottery, but the Celtics' probabilities for another top player have fallen.

And while Fultz must still show that he was worth the number one pick and is a better prospect than Tatum long term, it has potential to be less disastrous of trade if he's just a good player.

I'm still mixed about trading for Kawhi because of his health, BC's penchant for overpaying, and concerns about his not signing longterm with the Sixers, but by having the 10 pick could be a trade chip.

All in all a good night. And a little bit of equity for Hinkie fleecing the Kings.

He will. Problem for me is more of unrealistic expectations since many has overrate the LAL pick and for me it's went below expected outcome.

If SAC can improve next season, it drastically decreases the chances of Boston sniffing the top of the lottery again.

Memphis is the most valuable pick they have left, and is top 8 protected in 2019, top 6 protected in 2020, and unprotected in 2021 (hopefully they can be on the rise again by then).

LAC pick is lotto protected the next 2 seasons, and then turns into a 2nd round pick.

The pick is what it is, but you’re more confident in BC’s talent evaluation skills than I am at the moment.

If you are determined to win the Fultz deal, Kings landing 2nd overall pick is very good news. BUT even if you are just concerned with the team, Fultz just need to be able to knock down those 3s. For the team and for the trade.
