76ers f*cking suck they had a huge lead early in the 2nd quarter & now they are losing huge to the Heat.

We move down from 30th to 28th. Tankathon sim now gives us the 1st or 2nd pick way more often than when we were in the cursed 30th position

Can you update the OP with how many picks we have in this draft & how many 1st round & how many 2nd round?

For me, yes a top 3 is the goal but realistically anywhere in the top 5-7 and I'm guaranteeing our scouts find an all-star caliber player that they will develop into one.. I'm sure there will be other guys that surprise but really I could see any of the following guys being developed into stars by our developmental staff...

Harper
Johnson
Edgecombe
Malauch

I can see our staff turning any of them into BEASTS, so I don't think we should be looking at it as "only 14% odds" because when you really look at all the talent and if we're anywhere near that 3-7 range, I think think our odds are amazing that we draft the next core piece that can arguably become the 2nd or actual best player on the roster long term.

Unless we get some trades (Poeltl, Brown, Boucher, Mitchell, etc), we have our pick for the 1st round and Portland's 2nd round pick for this season.

For whenever Barnes returns, it'll probably take him a while to actually get into any type of rhythm and most likely affect the chemistry in some way.

In other words, there's probably going to be some growing pains with Barnes in the lineup for a while before it affects the pick when he comes back.

maybe the draft hype will die down by mid season and there are only 2 prospects with superstar potential. And then we get third worst record and pick third.

That's a bad way of thinking. Odds don't work like that. We need to hit on a high pick in a good draft year. superstar is some fancy icing on the cake.
