As a Pacers fan, not feeling bad about that half. Expected the Pacers to be rusty, and chalked this up as a loss anyway.

They're in it though. They're not getting killed on the offensive boards, but it feels like every one of them has been points.

Rusty? They came out shooting 9-for-9 and kept making shots all throughout the half. The Knicks are just the better team.

His point was exactly that we didn't come out rusty like he feared.

Brunson's a foul baiter but he's much more on the crafty side of things than the ugly/Hardenesque side where you aren't even trying to play basketball. Like when Brunson isn't getting the whistle, he's still highly effective.

Don't agree at all that he's not fun to watch, in fact I'd argue he's the most consistently fun to watch star left (Edwards is fun but super inconsistent).

There's also a correlation with guys trying to harrass Brunson into wearing him down. That's why he got the hyper-aggressive Ausar in foul trouble but didn't do the same to the old (& less energetic) Holiday. Indy's fullcourt press is likely to continue getting them in foul trouble unless Carlisle works the refs again.

The way a guy that small with no hops can consistently find space in the lane is amazing.
