I mean, they only lost game 1 by like 1 point (if they scored 1 more in regulation they win) and only won this game by 4 before intentional fouls at the end. Is that really that much of a difference in how they play?

Seems to me they play almost exactly the same whether in the road or home, give or take 1 or 2 shots.

The worst thing that could have happened to Indiana is Brunson only playing 31 minutes and missing most of the 4th. If I am Brunson I have a long look in the mirror and ask myself why my team has made 4th quarter runs with me on the bench in back to back games. He has to be a better and more disciplined defender and stop holding the ball cause your team can clearly score without you being a hero.

Pacers only scored 4 FGs in 4th quarter; 2 by Hali and 2 by Siakam. I think Pacers should have gone more to Siakam in 4th quarter; he was looking good.

Great game, Knicks fans. We lost focus in the second half and you took advantage of it in the best way possible. Myles got an excellent look to put us up 1 with 22 seconds to go but it didn't go in. It went in and out. It happens.

I said it at the half, we needed to be focused in the second half because the Knicks have proved their ability to come back when down big. But we weren't able to maintain our focus and play the full 48 minutes and we paid for it. Credit to the Knicks for another comeback victory.

For what is worth, I will also admit that I personally lost my focus when Nesmith went down with that rolled ankle. My mind was on him and not the game. It felt like the fans in the stadium had a similar reaction because it did sound dead silent in there after that. Thankfully, Nesmith returned and looked to be moving alright. We'll see if the injury is structurally important or if it was just painful as **** and something that he can play through.

By the way, we also lost game 3 in the Milwaukee and Cleveland series. This is why I was expecting a loss tonight. The difference here is that in both of these series, the games we lost were blowouts. This one wasn't a blowout. This was the first close game we've lost in these playoffs and that is quite important.

Thibs needs to tell Brunson to stop hogging the ball he isn't on that level where you accept it. The offense stops completely whenever Brunson is on the court this series.

You lost game 1 because you went away from the offense that brought you the lead and just let Brunson play right into Pacers hands.
