I'm not sure how you guys want to resolve this. KF20 and br7 (with kneega) have kinda been the guys running this...so ultimately up to them I guess.
Next time we should make sure explicitly state the rules (if it hadn't already bedn stated). Both sides have their arguments.
But lets just decide...regardless and abide by it.
Its not even a personal beef.... this just isn't fair and is bad for business doing BAT's. If he was not an active NBA coach last season he is not eligible. You honestly think some GM's might not of considered drafting Mcmillan? What about GM's that took coaches high in the draft to ensure they had an established coach? Its not fair to those guys either. Some Gm's passes on some nice talent taking coaches with high picks.
It was never stated they had to be an active coach though. People just started saying that in the past 2 days. People were asking what the rules were so obviously not everyone knew what they even were. You played BAT 2 years ago with me Knox. That wasnt the case then either.
If you really insist then I will take Byron Scott then

. Is he okay with you?

If Mcmillan wasn't active last season there is no reason he should get his way. That discredits the rest of the BAT and the GMs. If Mcmillan or Messina are not eligible then no pick someone eligible and move on. We have to change the rules because he wants to play legal loop hole with the forum? I could easily draft Phil Jackson and say he has flirted with coming back and dropping hints in the media
That's fine. I thout you guys were talking Messina (who I actually have followed closely). Didn't realize the issue was McMillan. I haven't followed when he was last coaching.

Byron Scott it is then.
And going forward in this BAT...only guys that have been eithera head or assistant coach in the NBA this past season is allowed. That's the rule...NOW...regardless of what it was or thought it was. Deal?

I don't care at all if the 5 picks before me get skipped. I can wait a whole 10 hours until my pick comes up. Just looked through the list of available players and found an eddy curry!

Pretty sure we always did active coaches in the NBA only.

I should've never said anything.. I was just getting ready to fire Mike D'antoni because of all the unfair hate and hire David Blatt.

Just a few more picks and we're done with this.. with all the complaining this has still been one of the fastest BAT's I've been a part of.

Instigator. Lol
Yeah Blatt was the other guy I was talking about. Among the many things he did successfully that you wouldn't expect a normal coach to do is use Timofey Mozgov at the top of the key as a disruptor and try to stop the dribble penetration.

Also just in case anyone doesn't know (I think most do)...you MUST draft a head coach with one of your 13 picks. You cannot draft 13 players and the n either try to trade for a head coach or add him during free agency.

J.Rich is real nice at this point, almost took him but didn't want to pay $5 mill to a guy who won't be in the rotation.

Extra shooting and defense is always nice. Complements the rest of my bench very nicely.
