Not injury prone, but he sure as hell doesn't help the careers for bigs he has played with. Name one big whose numbers, brand and recognition didn't plummet when joining LeBron.

he hasn't helped anyone's career.

literally no one has had their career year with LeBron. in fact, the majority, even Kyrie, had their careers years when they weren't playing with Bron.

Thank you.

That's a much better offer than anything the Lakers can put together. Siakam alone is >>> than any Laker player outside of LeBron.

No offense dude but rap fans are the only ones that view him like the second coming of draymond green. Rest of the league sees a good hustle/energy big having a nice season within a good system

this. I don't see star player in Siakam like the homer raptors fans. they think he's better than Beal. if I had a $1 for every Raptors fan saying a role player is a star player, i'd be a millionaire.

Knicks need to give them whatever they want lol even if it's swapping out KP.

KP would be by far THE best return imo. If somehow they can make a trade for their pick plus a bunch of young players without KP, then lookout league, the Knicks would be back and some huge FA will join them.

KP and Hardaway Jr is a hell of a haul

Maybe it's just me, but KP in NOLA with his injury history seems like a disaster. It is the best 1-1 fit and probably on the upper end of potential in terms of return player.

But if AD says he wants to win, how is going to NYK without KP attractive at all? If they get AD they probably won't land the #1 pick either. There are definitely some good prospects in the draft, but those guys won't become good players for a few years.

Just doesn't make sense to me why he'd want to go there unless KD or someone crazy signs there in the off-season.

You haven't watched him play much then. He's a much better prospect / player than any Laker not named LeBron. Just watch the guy play and tell me with a straight face you'd rather have Ingram or Ball or Kuzma.

Don't be that delusional **** that no one takes seriously.

You say that as though the “second coming of Draymond Green” is something worth trading AD for - lol...

Love was in the lottery every year

Minny were a +6 in terms of point differential when Love was on the court and were a -5 whenever he sat. That is the difference between being this year's Raptors team and this year's Magic.

The notion that he was never that good is silly. He was a top ten player in 2014.

AD in a Lakers uniform is a boost for the NBA global visual attraction. Everyone knows the Lakers. Marketing would be amazing.

AD a Laker for the rest of his career will probably keep him competitive for the rest of his career. Lebron will make the playoffs until he is 40 if he is with the Lakers for the rest of his career.

The Lakers are dysfunctional as hell and are run by Magic who im not sure has what it takes . So far his major decisions was to allow a loud mouth dad to talk him into drafting his son, and then going after free agents with a pitch of hey i'm Magic which failed miserably and now they are panicking because their original plan is blowing up in their face

Kuzma, Ingram, Lonzo, Zubac, Hart, Wagner, Mykhailiuk, etc

Lakers by far offer more quantity of youth.

Siakam is already 24. And NO is going into a full rebuild with AD gone. He doesn't fit even if he is better right now. All other TO assets are laughable.

I'd take Siakam over any of them and not think twice.

One hasn't played a single game this season and the other is a contract the team is desperate to get out of. I must not understand what "hell of a haul" means

Good point. Could be a disaster move for NO. Just wait till June

A little OT but one thing I've always wondered is why superstar players even need an agent or sign with a big name agency at all?

If they know that they can garner a max salary regardless, why not just represent themselves or hire Pee Wee Herman as the middleman and pay them 1% commission rather than an exorbitant amount? AD could tell any agent "I want to go to this city, do what you have to do to hook up the 2 GMs together for negotiations." It's not like the agent has to do any salary negotiations since everybody knows that AD will demand max salary wherever he goes. Didn't Andrew Wiggins cut his agent loose before signing to a max extension to save from agent fees?

I guess I'm just wondering why Klutch sports is really needed, as they may do more harm than good due to their affiliations and conflicts of interests.

 , is this even a question? This Rich Paul guy was selling bootleg Jerseys and living on the street s until he hooked up with Lebron. Lebron made him part of his inner circle as an assistant, he owes everything to Lebron. He is Lebron's minion and works for his master.

If you're the Lakers why not just throw everything you've got at NO for AD?

To Lakers: AD, Miller, Diallo, Clark, Frazier, Williams
To New Orleans: KCP, Ball, Ingram, Kuzma, Hart, Wagner, Zubac + 1st (or one of Wagner/Zubac + 1st)

If you're the Lakers you now know AD is re-signing, and you can finish the year with some vets who will sign on for the minimum before you really go for it next year. Meanwhile, if you're New Orleans, I don't think it gets much better than that.

AD going to LA is all about enhancing Lebrons legacy. Dude is 34 yr old and supposed to be the best player ever yet on every turn he tries to unite himself with the best players.

1. Has anyone even seen KP since his torn ACL? Pelicans want to risk that?
2. AD said he wants to compete for championships. that takes teams like the knicks out of the equation right off the bat

They looking after Kutch.

Getting the most money for their players and most money for them in commission.

Clutch wanted LeBron to go to LA for the same reason they want AD. They want to make Lakers relevant again and cash in on that market.
