Well, unfortunately for Spo, the Superstars are not responding to his style of coaching and his offense is well... sincerely garbage.

It is not as if these players are rookies and never, ever played with each other. Too much talent that are not listening to "his system". Simply not a championship coach. Sorry for those who may disagree, but the writing is on the wall. You need a well oil machine as a coach to inspire the talent, and even the referees will not respect Spo vs a Doc or a Phil Jackson.

It is actually an easy way out for a ref to side with a coach with voice and respect. Spo is not even close.

So, a so called dream team has gotten to a 5-4 start and has the league gunning at them for the simple reason of being call a superteam.

A shake up is needed and a players will not be changed, the coach has to go.

Tonight was proof of that. Wade looked flat out lethargic, and I've never seen him with a performance like that while playing under Riley (save for the 07-08 season when he was coming back from knee surgery).

Its really simple, Pat knows how to light a fire under a guys ass. Just look at last season, he was the one that had to call Wade out in the media to get him to get in shape, and he would've benched him tonight if that's what it took to get him to play hard.

Not to mention I have much more confidence in Pat's ability to draw up an offensive play than Spoelstra, but that goes without saying.

Time to see where this season takes us. 9 games in, things are already looking messy.

exactly, Spo is also too scared to tell lebron to keep attacking and not shoot those horrible shots (wide open for a reason)

Tonights game showed, lebron can attack the basket at will, taking KG to the basket anyone

Notice only the best coaches have the balls to call out their players to the media

I've defended Spo for a while on here, but my main criticism the past 2 years has been his babying of Wade and the fact that I was afraid that when push came to shove, he would be unable to make Wade do what needed to be done.

Yup. Other people were mentioning this during the game as well.

Wade and Spo are friends, there's no way Spo will chew him out. That's what this team needs.

I bet Mike Brown NEVER chewed LeBron out, and there's no way Spo will do that to any of the big 3. We need a hard a** type of guy who takes no non-sense.

Spo doesn't have the heart to get at Wade when he's not trying. I've been saying this for 2 years (along with Tim). We can't have this guy as coach for 3 guys with big egos.

it's not that i believe the players don't listen to Spo or don't respect him.....but i think he has a hard time pulling them out when they're not performing well.

maybe they need more of a veteran coach....someone with clout who won't be afraid to bench the "stars".

LoL

Didnt SPO JUST BENCHED WADE AND BOSH during middle of the 1st  until somewhere in the 2nd

We can bring in Dampier and Spo would still play UD at center.

Agreed. We need somebody who doesn't give a crap about how good a player is or what he's achieved and we need somebody they'll respect. It seems to me as if neither Dwyane nor LeBron really care about what Spo has to say but I'm a 100% sure that they'll listen to every word Riles will tell them.

Nobody will play this flat under Patrick James Riley.

No, Spo is a LIAR

He told us that he's going to evaluate Joel in the 1st couple of games, if he is deserving of the starting spot.

No he doesnt deserve it, yet already in the 8th game or so... you still have Joel starting

Spo sucks as a coach who fail to spot the obvious

Arroyo vs Chalmers

Chalmers played better in the pre-season, yet who is starting and got more minutes

If making the play offs are all that matter then the Heat have no more excuse to not play Pittman and give him some solid minutes. The Celtics gave Glen Davis minutes during their championship season and weren't afraid to throw him into the mix even though he isn't the most conditioned player.

Actually the same spot with Mike Brown on LeBron
Remember Wade letting Spo keep his coaching job for the past few years.
