Jrich seems like he's a pure shooter and that might be what we need....it might be a stupid observation on my part but doesn't it seem like our old squad was bad contested shot takers? I swear man if a hand was in our face we would clank it every time we couldn't hit anything unless it was wide open and even then we weren't shooting it well....

Jrich seems like Ray Allen in terms of hitting shots with a hand in his face so i guess that makes him the new "cold-blooded"? He's also pretty good shooting off the dribble and off the bounce as well....Here is a highlight i came across and yeah i know it's highlights but it at least gives us an idea of what he's capable of for those like me that didn't really follow him in Phoenix

What I also like is that in a close game, nobody knows who's gonna be taking the last shot .. Same problem the Heat cause

That's a big deal IMO. With the Lakers, you know Mr. Bryant will take the shot .. Here, we know Gilbert's prolly one of the best 4th quarter players, but Hedo can take and make big shots too, we all know that ..

If we could add a big body to our rotation, I think we'll be right up there come playoff time

Thanks Otis :D We all like this team again

IMO, Otis was thinking that the 1st rounder we gave up would result to nothing anyway. It buries us further into lux tax, without any on court help to be provided. It is also wide believed that the draft class this year would be weak because of the lockout.

I remember how Otis Smith called Carter fool's gold and then later traded for him. Then now, after he told Pritchard in Portland that they 'dodged a bullet', he re-acquires Hedo. Dude does the exact opposite of the things he says for real.

All I know is that Bryant has the ball in his hands when the game is on the line. Sometimes he passes to Ron or Fish for a shot but he usually takes those contested 20 foot fadeaway over 2 hands behind the backboard shots.

We need Gilbert to have the ball in his hands. He doesn`t have to be the one shooting it, he can pass out to JRich who is deadly clutch or maybe find Dwight open since he`s about 4-5 ft taller than Jameer.

Would be nice finishing this fantastic building's first NBA season with a Larry O'Brien Trophy, a Finals MVP trophy for Dwight & an extention for Dwight ..

Otis will get a statue right next to the arena

Nah. I like our chances against the Spurs.

And Howard (now) vs Duncan (past) would be a pretty good matchup.

The cash we sent to Phoenix, who have a notoriously tight ownership, I think was a big factor, of course Phoenix I'm sure would lament that you can only send 3mill as the maximum cash payment in a trade... Or can you... ? ;)

How many 1st round picks has Phenix sold for 3mill in recent years?

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Orlando had already agreed to buy that 1st back for 3mill come draft time, this gives Phoenix 6mill out of this trade to completely buy out Vince and have some left over to offset Marcin's large salary.

IMO, Arenas will have the biggest impact of the three in the long run, maybe not for the next 2 months (that goes to Turk) but come playoff time, he will really shine, and quite possibly move to the starting 5 at the 1 (If Stan stops being hard headed, i know BIG if).
