If he wasn't doing his camp in Africa he might have been, he could definitely use it

I actually think Biyombo's age is correct. For a giant African, he looked like a baby coming into the league, and he's physically grown a ton in three years. 21 or 25, hopefully he pulls it together enough to be a shotblocking defensive presence for us for the next ten years.
The Lamb flock's vision has come true.

I think it ended on the 14th or something and a flight from there back to the US probably takes a day

He's a shot blocking guru that rebound at a above average rate and he does crossfit. He's above summer league. And I'm not being sarcastic.

Can you post a link about this? I've heard this before, but I've also seen players play in summer league that have been in the NBA for a few years. Last SL an announcer said that once you're in the league for 2 years you're ineligible, but Im not sure.

Hes definitely not above SL. He could have used these games to be force fed the ball and work on his offensive game a little. Not sure if he is eligible though regardless.

Don't think either are technically ineligible. Derrick Williams is on his fourth year. Hell, even Josh Howard played.

Yeah I thought about Derrick Williams the other day. Biyombo definitely could have used this. But his camp is important to him, so good for him.

He's above summer league. He was a solid backup last season. He definitely wasn't a detriment to our team. You guys just value points and graceful looking shots too much. Biz rebounded, he blocked shots, he altered shots, he set great screens, and he shot over 50%. He did his job.

I never said anything that you just stated, so I guess you are responding to other people. He could have definitely have used this summer league to work on his game on the offensive end. Playing in SL doesn't mean you are a terrible basketball player. Means you are either trying to make a team or trying to better yourself. There is nothing degrading about playing in summer league.

I thought the rule was not necessarily that you can only do SL your first two years in the league, but that you can only do it twice?

I don't see SL as a place to work on scoring in the post. All he could've done was rebound and block shots like every other big in SL and he's already proved that he can do that effectively. Look at Gorgui Dieng, the poor guy can't even get the ball in SL. Biz did the right thing by not participating.

If you mean the right thing by not participating because he did his camps in Africa sure, but not participating because he thinks he is too good is laughable. At the least he could have been in Vegas along with MKG working on his game. Im betting it had more to do with his camps that he didn't play than him being "too good".

Delonte West has played in 432 NBA games and is playing this year. I doubt there is a service time limit
