I'm not trading Zeller unless I'm getting back a young shooter. I'm not trading him for a temporary upgrade over Marvin Williams. It's a waste of resources.

You wouldn't take a big upgrade over Williams for two years in exchange for Zeller? How good do you expect Zeller to be? I'm actually at least a little higher on Zeller's potential than most on here but I don't think he'll ever be anything near an all-star. If we could get someone who is already as good as Zeller's ceiling at our biggest position of need you wouldn't do it because they aren't a young shooter? Thad would be more valuable to our team than Harrison Barnes or Kevin Martin easily. We have a huge hole at PF and you want to trade our only expendable trade assets for two backup wings that are one dimensional shooters. I don't get it.

Ersan, Jeff, and Thad in that order for me. Thad is a woeful rim protector and not really a 3pt shooter so I'm not sure he'd be that much of an upgrade for us. I think Ersan would be splendid in Clifford's system. His contract is a little harsh but if we could squeeze out an asset from the Bucks to take him that would be the way to go IMO.

Same.

But I am also not interested in Green or Ilyasova at all either.

Neither am I. We spent two top 10 picks on PFs the past two seasons. Roll em out there and do it.

If we traded for Thad Young we'd have 17 million invested in the PF position (not including Vonleh) and would have spent a top-5 and a top-10 pick on PF and would have dealt away one of them. NO. WAY. IN. HELL.

Not one single reporter has pressed Cho about not bringing in a 3-pt threat after trying to get Afflalo + Hayward. It's obvious he's aware of the need but he hasn't been able to do anything and he should go on record and acknowledge he still has work to do. Now maybe he doesn't do it now but he definitely has work to do. I'd like to see Afflalo at the deadline or Harrison Barnes/Ben McLemore before the season.

McLemore is hot garbage. Hardly a threat at anything other than dunking a basketball.

Whatever. Get Barnes then. Barnes + Afflalo should be targets. We still don't have improved 3-pt shooting. We added Marvin Williams but lost McRoberts. We didn't improve a major weakness at all.

Lance shot a higher percentage on more attempts from three last year than Barnes did.

Hell even Hendo shot better from three last year (albeit on less attempts)

3pt shooting on the team

Kemba- 33%
Gerald- 35%
Neal - 40%
Jeff- 32% (career)
Pargo- 40%
Roberts- 36%
Lance- 35%
Marvin- 36%
Hairston- 36% in D-League

Basically, a bunch of average shooters and 2 above average shooters, i wouldn't trade for another average shooter in Barnes or McLemore, we need a sharpshooter

Yea, i would take either one of them over Jeff, he has a horrible year, it wouldn't surprise me if we release JT at some point during the season and get CDR from the D-League again (assuming he doesn't get signed)

Can Henderson run PG or is he strictly a SG?

he is just a SG, can play some SF also. Gerald playing PG gives me nightmares he has zero PG skills.

But he is a top ten pick like our PFs. We could just roll him out there like them.
