There are still a lot of fundamental similarities with what they did. People are criminally underrating Wade (and he came with Bosh, too!) when saying that the two situations aren't comparable.

Not comparable. But you know what, if Lebron had joined the Boston Celtics with a younger version of PP, KG, and Allen after being up 3-1 against them and choking the games away, maybe it would be comparable. And who knows, maybe he would have done that in the same circumstance. But to me, that would have been way worse than him joining the Superfriends.

Moral of story -- anything can happen, there's no such thing as a sure thing.

Thats right, anything can happen. Injuries happen, lets not anoint GSW 2015 Champs just yet. It is a long season....

Prime Wade & Bosh >> Splash Borthers any day of the week. Then Lebron jumped to the team that had 3 nº1 picks in 4 years including Kyrie Irving that just outplayed Curry and Klay combined.

Made more sense to flip it as Will = Wstbrook and Uncle Phil = OKC

Alright cool.

Anyway, let's pretend that your argument holds water, and that we're ignoring Draymond Green (a unique player in his own right who might be the more valuable player on the team), and Andre Iguodola coming off the bench. I don't really care about Lebron. I do think his move was a **** move but only because he decided to team up to win the championship, and because he thought he could take the easy route out (not one, not two, not three...). If Lebron didn't win any more championships, I wouldn't care.

I'm not even gonna compare KD to Lebron anymore. Lebron gets a lot of hate, but there was one player who got even more hate than Lebron: Chris Bosh. KD is basically the Chris Bosh of the trio (well actually, there was already a trio in GS, but I'll be nice to KD). Chris Bosh was a great player (really really really good) in Toronto who had to join 2 much better players to win that championship. Same with KD. Chris Bosh won his championships, and he will have no regrets over that. So will KD, I suspect. Bosh also sacrificed a part of his legacy for those championships. So will KD, even if he does win.

There's a very interesting article about Chris Bosh here (http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/14791696/miami-heat-forward-chris-bosh-battles-basketball-mortality).

"Bosh doesn't think he has much of a chance at landing on the next poster because of the nasty and pervasive criticism he received in Year 1 of the Big Three. He became accustomed to the idea that even if the Heat did win a title, he wouldn't be mentioned on the same level as James and Wade. Maybe Hall of Fame, but top 50? That was gone."

I'm usually not like this but goddamn I pray to PorzinGOD that sissy Durant never ever gets a ring. Chewer, dads little boy, pussy and nutcracker on a same team. 2 top5 players(4 all-stars) in starting lineup SMH

Hell Lebron going to Miami was low but this is just pathetic.

Am I the only one that thinks GS isn't necessarily better with Durant? I remember a loaded Sixer team get beat down by a Trailblazer team that had Bill Walton and a bunch of role players. Sixers didn't win until they traded a star, George McGinnis, for a role player, Bobby Jones.

I saw a stacked Bullets team get whipped in the finals by a GS team that had Rick Barry a a bunch of role players.

The Thunder should have beaten GS this past year, I'd love to see them knock them off this year and I think it's entirely possible. Just throwing a team of talented offensive players together doesn't always work. Look for Westbrook to walk way with the MVP this year, he was outstanding when Durant was out this past year.

You aren't only one. They are now an awkward team. I admired how that team was built because every piece fit in so nicely and everyone complimented each other. I can see scenario playing out where klay wants to bolt eventually.

If DuRAT went to Clips that would have been a super team too, but the amount of hate would be nowhere close, the problem is crawling to a one loaded great team you should have beaten, NBA is not basketball anymore, its a show about basketball NBA = WWE

From the wiretap:

"He's never going to have a game in Golden State where Steve Kerr has to say at halftime, 'You guys need to get Kevin the ball,' which happened in OKC," the same person said.

The guy was frustrated that Donovan sometimes told the team to get him the ball to make something happen.

WTF is wrong with this dude?

I'm not quite reading that the same way you might be. it seems that quote is a slight to his former teammates most notably westbrook.

The ball should find him much better in the flow of GS.

Yea, just realized that.

But he's not going to get more touches playing with Curry, Thompson, and Draymond.

Idk, he may get more touches, it's a different animal when an entire team freely shares the ball. Might not shoot it as much, but that depends on how they stagger their lineups. I'm in the minority for sure but I do think KD will be the number 1 option, even with those guys there.
