I'd also call Toronto and see if Kyle Lowry is available and offer them Otto's expiring deal...

When does Kyle Lowry’s contract expire?

Hell yeah I would ship both Lauri and Wendell for Wood - I wouldn't add the first round pick though.
I could trade Wendell and First round pick for sure.
Wood gives us instant another 20/10 type player next to Zach and if PWill develops, we could have a very solid core - especially if we keep Lauri and Coby along with that and add in some vets. To me, it's a no brainer.

Re: NBA Trade Thread # 3
Amick is reporting the Kings are in seller mode. He thinks Barnes, a lot of fans think Hield is more likely to go. Either way, they want to make room to start Haliburton and they sure as hell aren't giving away Fox.
I guess they could sell Bagley and play Barnes at the 4, but Bagley is much younger was a higher pick on a rookie scale contract etc..
I think Barnes is interesting because our forwards are always injured, he shoots 62% TS, and he's averaged 75+ games played last 3 years and has missed only 3 games this season. Attendance record appeals to me more than theoretical upside these days for a SF/PF.

Barnes, IMO, is on par with Lauri, but the biggest difference I see is his durability - gives you about 20 more games per year for probably less money.

Sign me up for Barnes. A more athletic version of Otto who doesn't get hurt? That's what this team needs.

Should the Bulls be interested in him? What about Otto Porter Jr for Aldridge? Would the Spurs accept that?

I'd also look at DeRozan as well. Expiring deal as well

LMA is 36, I don't see why we would have interest.

I was thinking the same thing. Not sure Spurs do it because they add some salary / cap. But for the Bulls Aldridge would bring a useful low to mid minute vet presence inside, with playoff experience, to help teach the youngins.

Just not enough there with LaMarcus. Would ironic to get him we could argue at this point of passing on Aldridge was were paxson began his slide as a executive. Not to say Aldridge was the answer for the franchise but man was that a misfiring thinking tyrus Thomas was it lol.
Aldridge needs to go to a team with vets. Drummond makes more sense

Blockbuster deal. Denzel Valentine adds shooting (sort off) to Bucks for Torey Craig. Val have no trade clause but sending him to Bucks may be reason for him, not to actived that clause. Another mega trade. Luke Kornet and Hutchinson for Goga Bitadze and second round pick, top 50 protected from Pacers.

Way too old. When does he expire? If he expires in 2022 it might be a OK just roll our cap space over with decent big.

His contract expires after this season...

We have to pass on LaMarcus Aldridge age 36 with this year as his expiring. If he was 32 years old, I would have done this. 4 years too late.

No thanks. We shouldn’t trade for a guy to artificially inflate our wins that we have no intention to keep around. At least with Drummond there is the possibility he might be worth keeping around.
