Not interested in DDV. Yes, he's a decent defender, but offensively you need to be good at one of two things-outside shooting or finishing at the rim. He's not.

The interest in Donte is not hard to understand he'd give us someone who can guard PG so that Jrue can defend another position and he's another ball handler which we're chronically short of

Seems like a nice enough guy but I really had hoped to have seen the last of Jordan Nwora in a Bucks uniform.

How much is Nwora's QO if we get stuck with him? Surely couldn't be much

Brogdon is really good so that’s a weird statement.

How is it weird. Both often injured, but one was an actual impact player.

On offense he's strictly a catch & shoot dude above the break (he sucks from the corners). Hasn't added any muscle and the functional strength to be a great pick & roll big and rim-runner just isn't there. I get the appeal if you're a team like Detroit or Washington, but not for us. Can't be spending our only valuable salary exceptions on fliers like him.

He's 10 years younger than Brook and actually shoots a decent percentage from 3? Great shot-blocker too.

I suppose the gamble would be his work-ethic issues (or perceived). I would imagine coming to a title contender with Gianni, Jrue, Khris, Pat, etc. would help.

He’s not allergic to rebounds as well.

Plus he has a banger named after him that is more well known than him

He also can't shoot or stay healthy

The Bobby contact has been coming for a year so all for that but I do wonder what the plan will be for the front court moving forward specially with Brook coming off contract very soon. Is it smart from a cap perspective to have a large chunk of it on those positions?

The Donte guys have got to move on. He's not the player you wish he was.

I’m a little surprised we’re holding onto Nwora. He has some useful NBA skills but I’m not sure he gets the game on the level he needs to. He looks very lost in a lot of games.

For $2mill though might as well take another year to see if there’s anything there.

Fair, I guess. One last prove it year, unless someone swoops in and offers him more.

Does Alex come to train with the team again this year? Looks like he's not under contract with Toronto atm(?).

We've seen how much the moves on the margins can matter it just seems like a waste to use a roster spot on Nwora again when he's proven over and over he cannot be trusted. If we sucked it would be one thing but we're trying to win now. i'd like to occupy his roster spot with a player who might have chance at helping us when it really matters.

It’s a good question. For as much as people like to rag on Brook he’s one of the few guys in the league who can do a solid job guarding embiid. He’s not going to be easy to replace and there’s gonna be a series in the near future where we play Philly and need to clamp down on Joel. Bobby and Giannis aren’t the guys you want to have that assignment.

The Nwora thing I just don't get. He's not good and Bud clearly doesn't trust him. Maybe he's filler on a potential trade sometime this season.

I don't think it's a given Nwora is back. We offered Frank Mason a QO a few years ago just to rescind it once we found someone better

$2m is peanuts. I was hoping we’d move on but for that price it’s fine. End of bench guy that you hope figures it out (he won’t).

If you can’t find a better option than Nwora at $2M or less for your 10th-12th man, you aren’t trying very hard.

His defense will never improve to be a playoff guy and he's further down the bench than last year. Much rather try someone else.
