Liked to see KP is practicing hook-shot.

At least in scrimmage highlights it seemed game went through him a lot. He made some smart passes out of the post. Also scored a decent amount.

Just wondering are there any defensive practice highlights. How is KP working on his D or is it always offense.

This guy is such a beast in PnR already. Let's hope Frank can develop into a good partner for him on these.

I agree, if they trade kp picks and frank for irving i would be done with this franchise for good.

Thay would be franchise malpractice.

That's not the trade...if done now.
The trade is simply KP and Noah(no picks or other young players) for Irving.

Willy
Melo
Lee
Frank/Timmy
Irving

I think I'd rather watch young guys be bad but improve vs older guys be bad and get worse. That might be the worse defensive team in the league but I guess the extra 4 games a year might make some people happy.

I still expect to trade Melo. The new center piece would be Kyrie.

We would have all of our picks, all young players(minus KP) and a **** ton of money.
You could build correctly this time.

So no, I wouldn't look at this as an old team. We would simply transition properly from Melo to Kyrie with assets in hand and young players already in place.

Use Tyson to dump Felton
Use Shump to dump JR
Use RoLo to dump Failderon
Use KP to dump Noah?

Yikes

I called this trade before.
All Phil needed to do was keep it cute and move in silence. Guess who is quiet?

You never received an elite talent back though.

Kyrie will take this team from Melo. No questions will be asked. Melo ain't gonna pass a thing. Kyrie is simply going to take it.

In a vacuum KP and Noah for Kyrie would be interesting and actually a decent trade by NYK standards. It would make the Knicks much better in the short run and erase the Phil Jackson era. TBH I like KP but he is setup to fail here since we do not have a quality PG to get him the ball. OTOH Kyrie has the most overrated game in the nba.

Trading away KP for an Injury prone chucker who doesn't make his team better bodes well for us getting the number 1 pick next spring I guess.

KP for Irving for me might as well be KP for Evan Turner. No coming back from that. Might as well move Frank, Willy, and some draft picks too. Let's bring back Zeke as Pres!

I'd love Kyrie, but I'd prefer to wait till 2019 & pair him with KP, along with two top 10 picks Frank WHG THJ around them. Maybe Ferguson too if OKC ends up being the trade partner & any other young guy we get in a deal.

That's a potential contending roster for the 2020's. We just have to be patient for once.

This isn't the same scenario as the Melo deal. The guys we gave up were role players. I had little issue with sending those dudes who didn't show up every night to Denver.

KP is a top 5 25 & under prospect in the NBA. We need to build with & around him, not use him to get a another building block. This guy is going to take a huge leap now that he's unshackled from the antiquated system that senile egomaniac was trying to force on this organization.

The worst thing Perry could do is to try to undo the enormous damage PJax had done, quickly. It's going to take time & I'm fine with that.
