I dont think the team is looking to mold Precious to be another ‘Jae Crowder’. Besides, Herro did fine under jimmy’s tutelage and they play different positions. The rook will have plenty of people guiding and helping in his development. I still suspect Crowder will be back but if he’s not I dont think Precious is missing out at all.

Actually they will. The attributes that Crowder is good at, Achiuwa will need to be good at to be trusted on the floor next to Bam. Achiuwa is gonna need to know how to defend the same players that Crowder defends. Learning how to read the defense and offense and learning how to position one self. Achiuwa has a lot more tools than Crowder, learning the role and the responsibilities is what gonna get him on the court. Shotrten season, without summer league or Gleague to get that coaching, veterans are going to need to teach him like how it was done in the 90s.

I am actually disappointed Miami couldn't get Oubre and/or Schroeder, both of whom expire next year.

Miami couldn't get this deal done?

Miami gets Oubre and Schroeder
OKC gets: Iguodala, DJJ, Nunn (or #20) and a future pick

Dragic / Schroeder
Robinson / Herro
Butler / Oubre
Bam / Haslem / Precious
Olynyk / Leonard

Neither one of the transactions above are legal. NBA salaries have set amounts for raises and decreases in salaries, depending on the type of deal.

I'm only down with re-signing Jae to a 1+1 (team option), but wow, what a terrible comparison.

Is the Detroit GM trying to get fired? I don't understand the logic here Blake is on an expensive contract and is injury prone but he's also up for a player option next offseason and is unrestricted the year after. Why the hell would Detroit want to take on Wall's salary in this situation?

Pistons must be trying to tank and stock up on as many 2021 picks they can or something. If they don't get considerable draft stock in that trade they will be a laughing stock.

Got a feeling Meyers Leonard got in Harkless ear to take less for one season... Harkless has 3 point range, hes had good years at 38% and bad years at 27%.. Spo will fix that up and get him back to 38%.

Good. I was hoping for Bjelica or Holmes though. That would have cost an asset I guess.

What a chit off-season so far.

I'm going to go sit on the toilet until I can force something out.

Harkless is 6’9”? Hmm, I was sure he was shorter than Jae, so I’m surprised by this.

I am just happy Riley is not an overreactor trigger happy man like most posting their displeasure in here. There is a reason why the man is a legend. Trust the process, have a little faith.
