Tru, but Boston and Philly both got better and have more depth this year as well. If miami continues this clutch shot making they will make it a series but if Philly or for more of the matter Boston claps down on them it may get challenging especially with no herro to alleviate the pressure(unless he comes back of course).
I do agree though that Miami's shooters aren't reliable and playing this poorly can definitely backfire against the better teams. There is just something about this team that just defies stats and paper. I thought this Heat team was terrible and I wanted them to blow it up at some point this season and now they are 1 game from the ECF. I don't know **** I guess.
It's truly incredible. Everyone was calling them done in the play in game against the hawks. To see the turn around they have had after is almost something I never seen before.
The thing that didn't make sense to Miami fans is that they had basically the same roster as last year minus PJ and the 3 point shooting just completely collapsed. They went from one of the best in 3 point shooting to one of the worst if not the worst with the same shooters. It didn't make sense. We knew size was going to be an issue as always but we didn't expect the offense to be that bad all year. I guess the laws of average have taken 82+ games to finally catch up offensively.
It does help to have Jimmy though. Overall, the Heat has a quality coach, system, and foundation that players buy into where you can beat better teams just with execution and hustle.
