Send us some additional money like Ish Smith back, we have open roster spots and swapping Lowry for Rozier still gives us the problem of only having 1 PG on the roster

Although Washington may move Tyus, they have another expiring contract of D.Wright who could help strengthen the backcourt depth.
There's a lot of possibilities with a Lowry trade if Miami is giving up an asset or 2.

Take advantage of Danny Ainges love for Herro. Herro for the better Sexton KO and a 1st, send a 2nd or Jovic if necessary.
Martin maybe needs to go out somewhere as well if we don’t plan on keeping him this summer

Haven't had a point guard who could score like that, consistently since Wade played the position his rookie year. Before that it was Tim Hardaway and before that Steve Smith. I suspect Herro is seen by Miami's FO as their best trade piece they'll move for a high-level player, and they'll wait until this summer to move him. If you have both Herro and Rozier in the starting lineup they're going to cannibalize shots from each other like LaMelo does with Rozier now. Herro as 6th man would limit his future money and I think being a starter is very important to him and his financial future. I think they could get away with moving Herro to 6th man for half the season this year but he's not going to be good with being 6th man past this year.
