If it leads to his early ejection, I'm sure Lin doesn't mind taking one for the team. Lin is the very best example of a team first player.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lin prepares some form of flop move around Bynum as an intentional strategy to get him called for flagrant/ejection.

It certainly is viable. Bynum is one of the dirtiest players in the league, even worse than Howard with his "frustration elbows."

Kobe's shooting has been doo doo lately. If he goes into chuck mode like he usually does against us and he doesn't get hot we got a chance. Dude doesn't know how to stop.

Please make room on the Lin/Knicks bandwagon for a life long Lakers hater (also liked Lin since the pre-season with the Rockets)

Pretty excited for this game. Really wish you guys had Amare though for this game (more than Melo)

Really hoping Lin destroys Fisher, one of the dirtiest players and biggest floppers in the league. Can't stand that guy

Some of the keys to winning this game:

Chandler - Stay out of foul trouble

Shump - Expecting he'll get Kobe some of the time, so keep Kobe in front of you and make him beat us from deep

Lin - No reason to expect jitters from him. Will still get into the lane, but this is the most dangerous frontline yet. If Lin finishes as well as before, this could be a tipping point. Mostly, stay out of foul trouble.

Novak - Has to produce. Suspect he may get his most minutes yet. Can see him getting 25 points if he is hot.

D'Antoni may go to a very short rotation tonight with Tyson, JJ, Lin, Shump, Novak, Fields getting the most minutes. I think we may see Toney before we see Bibby this game.

this game is akin to Lin's state championship. severe underdog vs all-star/top recruit talent. He'll be up to the challenge, he's been there before. Actually, he's been there his whole life.

only part I'm worried about is when Bibby and Walker come into the game.

Been a Lin fan for about 3 years, a Laker hater for about 20.

And I hate Fisher and Bynum more than anyone else in the league.

With all due respect to my brother Sqiptare, it would be "the real test" if we had Amare and Melo playing. So if we lose to the Lakers on Friday, I'm not going to fret too much as long as we continue to play "the right way." And with Mr. Lin running the show, I believe we will.

If there is a way this message can broadcasted to all the fans going to the game tomorrow, can we stop cheering for Kobe?!

He's the enemy. You don't cheer for the enemy. Stop chanting MVP at Kobe and giving him love. You don't necessarily have to boo him but don't support him!

The Japanese have a useful verbal equivalency comprising the contraction of two words into one that precisely expresses your sentiments. The term is Fukobe.

Lakers may lack a little mo-jo early -- coming off big game in Boston on Thursday.

They are also likely to be a little down with Melo/Amare out.

We need to jump out early and have some cushion going into the 4th.

Key is to get Bynum in foul trouble off pick and rolls to Chandler.

I would expect to see D'Antoni go small with idea of trying to draw Gasol outside to guard Novak -- though Pau will likely kill us on that match-up inside.

Need to get Bynum on the bench with fouls.

Hopefully refs can keep the bull-chit fouls on Kobe under around 7 for the game. Can't wait to see the bull-crap they call on Fields/Shump.

This is a game where the Knicks could really use an enforcer in case the Lakers start to get dirty. At least put in Jordan or Balkman for a few minutes here and there to add pressure to the Lakers' front court.

There's a lot of transplants in NYC these days. Plenty of Laker fans in the Garden.

Looking forward to seeing this one. Lin's been going against good PGs, but frankly, they're guys who seem to have mentally checked out on the season. I fully expect he's going to get tested by dirty vet Fisher and Bynum's over enthused shot blocking.

If Bill Walker can just do something, anything, positive out there, it'll help.

Return to New York Knicks
