I read somewhere that Barnes won't be playing all SL games, few of them probably.

Makes sense. Played the second most minutes of any rookie this season, plus had by far the most minutes played by a rookie during the postseason. It's not like the Warriors are going to have a lot of new rookies to integrate into their system this offseason.

I wouldn't mind seeing Tyler again....he looked like a totally different player in the D league Playoffs and down the d league stretch....I think trading him and all the playing time he got was starting to pay off....something clicked in him...that's for sure.

Could it be playing against scrubs?
Some guys were just meant to play in Europe. Tyler is one of them.

Oh I'm sure that had something to do with it, but before when he played in a d league game he still looked lost out there a bit....and he'd force things offensively, but after he got dealt and he came back to the slugs, he played with a different intensity and focus....it was nice to see because while I was watching I was kind of surprised by it all.....I had totally given up on him when he got dealt.

I'm sure the Pacers could have used Jack this year.....his value is high even with the warts.....but I'm 95% sure he comes back for next year.

I expect him back as well, the coaching staff seemed to be enamored with him and it was obvious we'd been needing a good backup PG for the longest time.

Once the Mavs lose out on Paul, they are turning their sights on Jack.

Paul...as in CHRIS Paul?
What a slap in the face for Mavs fans that would be - We couldn't get you CP3...but we did get you one of his best friends, JARRET JACK!

Yes, as in Chris Paul. The Mav's haven't been as brazen as the Hawk's organization, but I'm surprised they haven't been spanked for openly discussing Howard and Paul.
I personally see the Mavs losing out in free agency again, which might make Dirk available. If I was Dirk, I would be royally ticked that Cuban broke up their title team.

Then imagine how pissed he'd be if he was half-promised CP3 and winds up with Jarret Jack

I would offer up a package starting with Lee, who the Mavs like, for Dirk.

That would be amazing, but he makes $22.7M next year (ouch) and adding another player with recent injury time to an already shaky starting lineup. Sure would like to see what a healthy Nowitzky/Bogut front line would do though.

Dirk is healthy and I would question his health. He is also an expiring for 2014 and if you can move Lee as part of the deal, you aren't absorbing his entire salary, which would be offset by Lee's long term deal.
I would have to think the Mavs would at least listen if you offered Barnes for instance with Lee and sweetener. You could probably get Mayo or Marion as well.
Of course, none of this is going to happen if the Mavs are successful free agent players this off season.
