I'm not sure people understand just how good Giannis can be. What he showed last year playing for a dumpster-fire of an organization with the worst coach in the league and crappy teammates all while being the youngest player in the league and settling in to a new country is quite simply remarkable. He has everything. EVERYTHING you need to be a superstar. And his attitude is immaculate.

Forget where he was drafted. We stole him. We lucked into a prodigy, a true franchise changer. The hell if I am trading him for anyone except Lebron, Durant or Anthony Davis.

If we got to keep the 2nd pick I would. Giannis is young, but he might be all he is right now. Giannis is still very raw and he is a little overrated on this board. I expected that since he is young and physically gifted. We all have to hang our hats on something right?

What are the chances that a players best season is when they're 18/19? I don't have the stats handy but I would think the odds are hugely against it.

I didn't say anything bad about him. Would I have liked to seen a better jump shot from him? Sure. For anybody to say he has more potential than Wiggins or Parker is crazy. They all have the same. I would love to have two of the three, but you might well draw two names from a hat and hope for the best. No one know who's going to be the better pro. :D

Nope. If either of Parker or Wiggins was a playmaker it would be a discussion.

His Per 36 numbers weren't anything to brag about. 10 ppg, 6.4 rpg with poor FG and FT percentages. As a means of comparison, Tobes' Per 36 numbers as a rookie were 15.6 ppg, 7.6 rpg with good FG and FT percentages. Again, I'm not ruling out the possibility he's better than Wiggins or Parker in the future but I think it would be an absolute shock if both of those guys put up inferior Per 36 numbers as rookies next season.

Player #2 is Giannis. Take a guess at who the first is. Both rookie seasons, Giannis being 18 years old for half the season.

we are in a position we havent been in since ray and glenn.... we wont be able to say what if Giannis had a player like wiggins and parker. We can now actually see it happen. Lets sit back and have some fun.

One thing I think that's overlooked with Giannis is the fact that he would have been a freshman in college this year. He's going to be the same age as your Wiggins' and Parkers' this next season. If you want to compare his stats to Tobes or whomever else, I think it's only fair to do it at equal ages, aka comparing this next year for Giannis to Tobes' rookie year.

2:15 with Middleton and Giannis making the extra pass is Spurs like.

The first played nearly 36 minutes per game as well, earning those #s. :-P

He averaged 10 minutes a game more than Giannis.

Seriously how can any Bucks fan watch this and not completely cream their paints?

Lebron, Durant, Davis or go fly a kite. He's UNTOUCHABLE.

And the second earned his playing in a system that largely ignored him.

He played under a coach who underutilized his talents.
He played with a point guard who had no court vision.
He had to completely get used to American culture through the season.
He had to wait 6 months before he was sure his family would be safe (and in the US).

I expect a monster leap from him in year 2. I'd only trade him for Embiid.

I don't think he will have a Monster year. Unfortunately, we still have the same coach who underutilized his talents by standing him in the corner and still has pgs without vision/do not pass to him. I see him doing much better in Year 3 after Drew is fired.

I also would prefer if he was spending time working on shooting/post up moves instead of playing with his National team, but I guess that can't be helped.

Oh come on, ya'll can't be serious comparing Durant and Giannis' first year.
