Hawes was a lottery pick a few years back. He wasn't a bust. He's a solid fringe starter good backup big. Frank the Tank gonna be better than Zeller for us in his rookie year. Bank or bet on it.

That sure has me excited. What a high bar to clear.

Cho's current crappy pick is less crappy than his former crappy pick. And all he could get for a not-yet-crappy pick was one year of the Blazer's 4th option.

He passes on Winslow because he traded for his gay buddy Nic and doesn't want anybody getting in his way. When GM's or coaches reach backward for players from their old days and teams, you know you're near the end of the line.

Kaminsky will prove to be too slow to defend, run the floor, or hang with the newer NBA style of small ball 4's. He has skills, but they don't translate. Supposedly we missed McRoberts so much we're seeing Frank as replacing him in this year's team. They tried like crazy to deal Cody, so he probably comes off the bench. We may score more, but I fear we won't defend well enough to close games. That will translate into a worse record this season than last. MJ will fire Cho and Cliff, but the damage will be done. We'll lose Batum to free agency cause he won't hang around for a rebuild. The future seems darker tonight than it did this morning.

This is exactly what will happen, it's downright amazing to me that our front office can't see that Kaminsky's game won't translate to the NBA.

Sorenson said the rumor is MJ loves Kaminsky but I don't think Sorenson really buys it. Cho was at that Wisconsin game and is obsessed with Big Ten prospects.

Exactly. We all knew Kaminsky was Cho's guy. They tried to trick themselves into believing Cho was there for Stanley Johnson. But nope.

Big time denial over their savior, Cho. Johnson had a great run on the board early this summer. I vomited a few times. And yes Winslow can't shoot and I hated the fanfare for him as well but I would have preferred him to Tank.

Frank the Tank is gonna be alright. Go watch him play. He can shoot, he can pass, and he can finish around the rim without looking weird like Zeller did. This is a makeup pick from Cho owning up to the mistake that Zeller ain't no stretch 4 like he badly evaluated him to be. If Zeller a stretch 4 then Nene is a SF.

I was ok with the Zeller pick. Ill take him all day over Frank. The Portland trade was bad and this draft was atrocious. Cho is getting fired.

That Batum trade is pretty bad unless he has a career year in a contract year that lift us into the playoffs but I doubt it with him playing SG.

Even if MJ did "love" Kaminsky, there was nobody there to talk him out of it. There should have been an ARMY of people talking him out of it. That is outright scary no matter which way you look at it. MJ is a spectator, a fan and Cho has no eye for talent and no eye for personnel who have eyes for talent. I saw the pattern a long time ago and I'm very satisfied to see others coming around. The brainwashing was getting exhausting for me but alas I have brainwashed everyone (except Yosemite)

And McDermott could do it all in college. Barely means jack in the NBA. Almost a totally different sport. Frank is gonna be a role player at best while 10-15 players in the draft chosen under him will rise and we will continue to be the laughing stock of the league for our decisions.

But Frank will be a matador trying to defend the perimeter, or get in rapid foul trouble trying. He played the 5 well in COLLEGE. As an NBA 4 man, he will get toasted.

Our entire defense got toasted whenever MKG didn't play regardless who it was.

Batum was the best wing he could get for his crappy, worthless picks/assets.

And with a wing duo (MKG + Batum) that doesn't work, instead of challenge that pairing, he picks Kaminsky. There needed to be a Booker in there to pressure his roster construction.

We go into the season with Hairston as our immediate backup SG/SF? Lol. I thought Cho could possibly cave to Clifford and get Booker with Stanley off the board. I definitely didn't want Winslow but wouldn't have been mad. They're just mad because we passed on the Dukie.
